I arrived near to closing time but was looked after so well and made to feel very welcome. Food was yummy and Josephine went out of her way to look after me, it was greatly appreciated. (Food pics attached but note no dressing / marinade was due to my allergies- food still delicious!).

Not knowing where to go for breakfast, I stumbled upon 5315. I wanted a simple breakfast, nothing fancy but was pleasantly surprised with the food. I ordered the Loco Moco. It comes with rice, pork, onions, mushrooms, eggs and gravy. It was so good. The person sitting next to me ordered Hawaiian Eggs Benedict. I would recommend this place. Staff is friendly, prices are fair and dress is casual.

As soon as we arrived, the waitress who seated was very cold, disrespectful, and unprofessional to us. The restaurant was visibly dingy, old-looking, and seemed straight out of a Kitchen Nightmares Episode. A second waitress took care of our orders, and service. She was very nice, jolly, and friendly to us. When we received our meals, the food was average tasting, and of somewhat poor quality. Throughout our meal, the waitress who seated us (very disrespectfully) almost seemed to have an obsession with removing things from our table, such as salt and pepper shakers when we weren’t even done with our meals. She didn’t even ask if we were done with them. We ordered a green salad after she removed our salt and pepper, and had to ask for it back, in which she removed the shakers soon after, almost completely disregarding the question whether we still needed them. While eating, we saw her standing and watching us in the corner of our eyes, waiting for the second we are done with our plates, to remove them. Her un professionalism was apparent, and her obsession with removing things from our table, almost became a nuisance, in which we joked about how we had to hide our napkins, and soy sauce, so she doesn’t take it from us. This waitress, and the whole dining experience left us in a bad mood, a still-hungry stomach, and an inside joke between the family, about this joke of a waitress. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend you do not go to this restaurant, and you choose a different dining experience in the area. The only thing I can’t complain about, is the second waitress, who was a very happy, nice, and sociable server, who made helpful food suggestions.

Strong and large mai tais. Food is ok. We tried the nachos, good concept, but the wontons don’t hold up the toppings. Ask for extra napkins for those. I ordered the kalua pork tacos. The tortillas fell apart after one bite. Flavors were good though. Kitschy and fun decor.

First we are not new to vacationing on the islands, so we understand island time. We actually were in line for the Gazebo and left for reasons I will post on their review.

We wandered in off the beach for breakfast and later check out the tiki bar for happy hour. The tiki bar was really fun. When we were in the restaurant, food was decent and service was adequate, environment was super quiet. It wasn’t the best we’ve had but certainly not the worst.

Yesssss this is a must eat. We were looking for a place with good food and cute vibe that wasn’t going to cost us $50+ a head, and Kitchen 5315 hit all those marks.

Service was pretty slow, especially considering there were only two other tables full when we were there. But the service was friendly. The food was really delicious, and prices are very reasonable. Don’t plan on a quick in and out. But really, we shouldn’t be planning on that on Hawaiian time anyway, right?
