Snug bistro with wine & French fare, including mussels with fries, duck confit & crème brûlée. Great little French bistro hiding in a strip mall.

Always delicious continental-inspired cuisine with locally sourced ingredients. Eclectic wine list with a frequently changing menu.

Love these guys. Always warm, friendly and welcoming. A fun place to dine and one we are always happy to enjoy with friends and visitors. Equally important is their attention to quality with unpretentious preparation. Giant portions too (I often have to split!). The straightforward approach applies to their wine list as well.

Took the guys in my shop to eat here at the recommendation of my wife, the pickiest eater I’ve known in my entire life (love you! She’s a chef).

Had dinner here the other night. While the food was excellent (the duck was exactly like what we’ve had in France), our waiter seemed to be a random, unwashed dude off the street. No uniform — just a t-shirt with dirty jeans — and unkempt hair. And he was expressionless. No hello, just a stare. Strange to have someone you can actually smell serve you– and we were outdoors. Everything he picked up, he tucked under his arm — menus, table mats, the bill folder, etc. Yuck. He told the next table what the specials were but didn’t tell us. Just stared. The food was really very good but we didn’t feel welcomed there. Too bad, as it was a special occasion and we had earlier been thinking that if we liked the food, we might bring my aunt here. Not going back.

Was disappointed to get hit with a 4% credit card fee when I received the bill. This fee isn’t disclosed on their website, front door, or menu, so you’re left with the feeling that they’re trying to hide it and nickel and dime you. I wonder how many guests even realize they’re paying this fee. Also, there’s no way they’re actually paying 4% to process their credit card transactions – most processors charge 2.5-3%, so either this restaurant doesn’t comparison shop or, more likely, they’re actually marking up the fee for customers. Given the price point at Kitchen, I don’t understand why they don’t increase their prices by 4% and then just drop this fee. Either way, the food and service were just ok, but not great, and there are so many good restaurants in the area that there’s no reason to go back to a place that tacks on a surprise charge at the end of the night. Just really not a great way to treat customers.

This place… Wow. What can I say? Not only was the staff friendly, the food was fantastic. The Thai mussels had this broth that was spicy, subtly sweet, flavorful, rich and delicate all at the same time. The herbs and fresh mussels together were such an epic combo. The fries were also awesome. They weren’t oily at all. I would go back here any day of the week. I also had the pleasure to make a second visit here and had the fantastic flat iron steak. If you want great food at a decent price, this is the place.
