So, if you blink you’ll think it’s a closed business as most of this strip mall is abandoned. But trust me, it’s worth the walk in and try. Family owned and ran, they serve good ole, down home, lip smacking soul food. From their collard greens to the Mac-n-Cheese… their fried white fish, fried pork chops and BBQ ribs are so so good. OH YES, try the sweet potatoes. Just fill up your plate and they’ll weight it, pay it and get ready for some food filled with flavor. Last thought, I had their homemade peach lemonade with fresh peaches in the lemonade, it is crazy good!!!

I loooooove their food!! It has so much flavor!! Home cooking, great prices, and wonderful customer service!!! They do events too!!! This is a buffet style weigh to pay restaurant. The family that owns and runs it is wonderful. They are always helping when people need them. ❤️ come for the food, stay for the people!!

Kitadee’s Soul Food Lounge was the first place I visited when I got off the plane and checked in. I saw two soldiers walking in the parking lot and knew where they were going. Fells and Ramos both enlisted, were a delight to talk to along with the local folks. The atmosphere was Classy my people we open but give me 15 minutes before we serve you . Well! Worth the wait yawl, the Retired Colonel was Hungry first, Happy second, Full third, and fourth Smiling. The pallet of my mouth was graced by those awesome tasting yams, succulent sweet corn, melt in your mouth cabbage, good God almighty cornbread. Finally, I tried the best seasoned Krispy with a K fried whiting fish I’ve ever had to go with the meal. I am bald but it still ended up in my hair. Great Team, Great cooks. They come highly recommended if you want some outstanding home cooked food. My mouth became an immediate advertisement for them. Jesus!!!!!!! Great Job Team.

I love this place already, my cousin sent me something on Facebook yesterday and I went today because the food looked so good. When I went today the young lady in the front was really friendly. The food was amazing. I got my family food too,which means I tried everything . and everything was good. I had fried fish, fried chicken, smothered chicken the baked bbq chicken, white rice, corn,cabbage and collard greens, cornbread,yams and beans. I didn’t even wait till I got home. I started eating some food in the car love this place I’ll be back!❤️

One of Spring Lake and North Carolinas hidden jewels! If you are within 100 miles of Spring Lake North Carolina make it a point to eat here one time and you WILL come back. I had the Shrimp and Grits my first time and cit is the fine restaurant quality you find at Myrtle Beach I had a side of collard greens with it and they were the best I have ever eaten. My second time I had Pork Chops, Macaroni and Cheese and had to get the Collard Greens again. You will never have macaroni and cheese any better than this oh the the pork chops were delicious! If you live in Spring Lake why haven’t you eaten there yet? Next time I go to Kita Dees I better see the place full and take out going out the door in double time!! Try it once and you will be back I guarantee.

For a restaurant to take 20-25 min just to take an order is ridiculous. Food is amazing but waiting 25 minutes just to wait on the food for another 30 minutes is wild. But overall the Food is great.
