Need more help, food is always ok, it’s just not nothing you can’t wait to order again. If they did less frozen products and kept to fresh, it would help immensely. The bar is beautiful. Cheesecake was fabulous. Fried portobello mushrooms excellent.

We were visiting from out of town. Overall the service was good and the food was pretty good too. We had burgers, chicken salad, several appetizers, and even French toast. We had a large party which I don’t think they’re used to dealing with. It’s definitely more of a locals place. We were satisfied overall though.

Love this small town treasure. It was very busy the past 2 times, which I’m grateful for. The staff is laid back and friendly. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but it’s downtown so that’s expected.

One of Defiance, Ohio oldest restaurants. Family owned since 1928. The back bar is from the 1890s World’s Fair in Chicago. Elmos in Indianapolis has the other 3rd of the bar. Great history, great family, great experience. Ask for my cuz, Karl.

This is a great local place for food and drinks! The location has a beautiful old bar that was built when over a century ago. We stopped in to have their signature drink the Tom & Jerry, which is delicious and will warm you up on a cold day!

We have been to Kissners before but tonight was really a lot of fun. Kimberly was our waitress and was awesome. A really hard worker and very fun. She was awesome.

If your looking for decent food fast Kissner’s is a great local option that isn’t fast food. Parking can be an issue at times so be prepared to have to walk a bit if nearby spots are full. Since we chose to give it a second chance post pandemic we haven’t been disappointed. The menu is varied but not too confusing, service is fast and the food is always hot and made to order. The wait staff may not always smile, but they are always friendly. In the midst of growing inflation the prices are still pretty good.

Kissner’s is the bomb. Very cool setting on the inside. Kind of like a 1950’s themed Cracker Barrel. I got the 3/4 pound Karl burger with waffle fries and the cheese curds as an app. The burger was 9/10. Awesome food. Would recommend.

It was a truly wonderful experience to say the least. It was August 21st, 2019 at 2:57 when I discovered that my girlfriend was cheating on me with my dad. It was the most heart breaking and wrenching thing I have ever felt before. Four and a half year gone in an instant to the one who I called Daddy. I broke up with her immediately and moved to Defiance. I had no home. I had no family, and had no one to call mine. It was down pouring that evening and I was stuck in the rain. I was lost and cold in a town I had no knowledge of. But there it was. Kissners Restaurant. The sign was shine beautifully against the pouring rain. It was warm and inviting. I stepped inside and was greeted by a wonderful lady named Catherine. She gave me a warm towel and sat me down at a booth in the corner. She offered to pay for my meal in return that I tell her how I ended up in the situation that had unfolded. I explained the situation and Catherine and she shed a single tear to my story, enough to tell me that I had found a new start. I was served a delicious meal with beautiful atmosphere. I left that evening with a full stomach and hope for a better future. I now have a loving partner and a terrier mix named Cheeto. Kissners gave me hope for better things to come, and I am eternally grateful for their kind staff and wonderful food.
