The vibe and ambience were great. I loved the music and was jamming out. Now about the food and drink. I tried the Certified Cocktail which was really good and I ordered the crab beignets and NOLA stuffed chicken and buttermilk cornbread. The food could have been hotter when I got it but it was good. As for the cornbread, I really didn’t like that it was dry. Not moist at all. I am in town visiting from Atlanta but if I am back I would give it another shot.

Had dinner at Kiss Restaurant on Thursday night with my good friend that just moved to Dallas. It is located on McKinney in the same building as Fogo de Chao Dallas. Valet parking is $20. We were happy to discover that Thursday night is ladies night featuring $5 items and selections. The crowd is younger and vibrant on Ladies night with current rap and r&b playing in the background. Kiss was initially highly recommended by a friend of a friend. Given the wonderful food and atmosphere, it turned out to be a great recommendation. I was also very pleasantly surprised by the beautiful interior design and decor throughout the establishment. It is a bronze/golden baroque style on the first floor. The second floor features an abundance of black marble blending Art Deco with baroque. I highly recommend the crab beignets and the spinach dip. You might need to ask for extra bread for your spinach dip. The restaurant also features a fried chicken, greens and macaroni plate that looked good as well. They are usually know for a great weekend brunch and I will be back to check it out! Just for fun, go to the second floor and take a picture at night in front of the “KISS” lighted floral wall.

Please be prepared to pay $20 valet or $20 for general parking across the street. Otherwise it’s very very limited street parking. The dress code didn’t seem to matter much as was emphasized online. ♀️ Service is very slow overall. At no point did it get any better. All the food was meh! Not even mid in my opinion. It took entirely to long to receive the food that was ordered. The ambience was the thing it had going for itself. The music was enjoyable. Frankly, no one out of our party of 5 said that they would come back. The empty club upstairs was charging $125 per table. Don’t let Instagram fool you with cute pics of food and a good time.

If I could give them more than 5 stars I definitely would!! I made a reservation here for my mom’s 50th and they did not disappoint. Everything was just right, I was even able to set up early, it was ladies night as well as they had good music playing and food/drink specials. Giving them a 10 star review, they are also black owned and an upscale establishment so do support!!!

My birthday was mid-week, so I thought I would have dinner with the family. I was told dress-code was enforced. When we arrived, a young couple was in-line immediately in front of us. They were denied service because he was not business casual. I thought that was rude, especially when they did not have a large crowd. Side note…As we were eating our food, a group of young men walked in with, I believe was their manager. They looked so unprofessional, but they were allowed to get a table and order drinks. I asked the waitress why the low-budget version of Bone Thugs and Harmony Rap Group was able to dine, but another group was turned away. She said she didn’t know.

KISS is always hit or miss, but this was a decent visit as far as the food goes. The service was very slow for a Tuesday, but you could tell they were a bit shortstaffed. The prices here always baffle me, mainly because they charge extra for substitutions and extra condiments. The vibe is nice, but not a place I am running back to.

Kiss Dallas is a modern American restaurant with a unique menu and great ambiance. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with dim lighting, which creates a cozy and romantic atmosphere. The lobster bisque was rich and flavorful, while the spinach dip was creamy and delicious. The lamb chops and steak were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The menu features a variety of dishes that are both creative and delicious. The appetizers, main courses, and desserts are all excellent and showcase the chef’s culinary skills.

KISS provided the luxury dining experience and club vibes all in one setting. While enjoying the delicious food and drinks, we got to listen to some of our favorite music from the genre of hip-hop and R&B.

Loved every aspect of this lounge/restaurant ❤️ ♥️ definitely will be back soon. The parking is 20.00 rather you valet or not. There is also a mixed drink surcharge. So just be prepared. But it’s most definitely worth it! I had the fried boudins and they were delicious. I didn’t get to snap a photo of the entrées we were having so much fun. The music is a whole vibe all by itself. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
