I recently visited Kisoya, a Japanese restaurant, and had an incredible experience. The dishes were all authentic Japanese cuisine, and I was blown away by how delicious even the cabbage salad was.

Decent tasting food. Simple service as you order your food at the counter and you get a buzzer to come pick up your food. The food comes out pretty quickly, so you won’t be waiting long.

Quick bite, self service location. Pick up your own utensils and pick up your order at the front. Cotton candy for kids at the front.

The food is bomb!! My cousin brought me here 2 weeks ago. We’ve been on the hunt to find a restaurant that’s similar to one of our favorite curry restaurants in Japan. This spot is the closest. I’ve been back a few times since then and brought friends and family. They all loved it.

Came here for lunch with my coworkers and we all enjoyed our meal. The owner is very friendly answering all of my questions. I chosed no.9 nabe udon with pork donkatsu, the pork donkatsu was like meat heaven soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. It’s the best donkatsu I ever had. The nabe udon was very umami. We definitely be back. I will get king donkatsu next time. If you are in Suwanee are, you should visit this restaurant with very modern interior and delicious food.

The restaurant is self-serving style which is great for saving money on tipping. I ordered cheese donkatsu and it exceeded my expectations; I haven’t had that amazing of a fried porklet filled with cheese since I visited Asia. The pork is tender, breading is light and crispy, and the interior is filled with generous amount of oozing cheese. The salad also came at a very satisfying quantity. Udon is light and flavorful. I would definitely revisit this place to order the same item or try other items!

I really like this place. The katsus are outstanding, true category leader. Chicken or pork, 3 different sauces, cheese stuffed. Every katsu variant tender, juicy, crispy. The udon broth will be a matter of personal preference. The tonkatsu ramen broth is a big disappointment, avoid this menu item. This place got some bad reviews when it first opened (probably from the ramen) but I tried it recently after hearing good things about it from friends. The katsus is where it’s at.

I thought the ramen was delicious, but the setup of the place is like a cafeteria in school. This could be good as there was no tip to give. The place was clean and good lighting. Ramen was not over salty, which is what I liked about it.

Kisoya is one the best donkatsu places I’ve been to. The portion sizes are huge and good is high quality for the price. I would come back and bring my friends to try this place 100%.
