this place used to be good a year ago. the Orange Chicken recipe changed I guess? used to be so good; crunchy and spicy but now is just sweet and sour chicken with a burnt orange peel in it. so gross and disappointing (I do not like sweet& sour) and super low quality food. have the Beano on stand by.

Ordered door dash from this place, and while there were good items in my meal, there was also an ‘unexpected’ item. I ordered two soups (I really like soups) the hot and sour and wor won ton soup. Both have seafood (shrimp) in them, which is fine.. but the hot and sour soup was neither hot, nor savory?! It actually tasted sweet to me, to a point where I couldn’t have anymore. The shrimp was a nice touch, but I wasn’t sure what happened to this batch, or is their recipe for this soup actually intended to be not savory?!?!?! The wor won ton soup was very good, a regular chicken broth with goodies inside (veggies, egg, wontons, etc.). I also ordered some broccoli and mushrooms that was nicely done, as well as a salt and pepper fried calamari, and lastly, a vegetable mei fun. The vegetable mei fun was actually very delicious! I originally thought of giving it only three stars, but since the mei fun was so good and I forgot about it, I’ve upped this review to 4 stars instead 🙂

Extremely disappointing dinner. Friends recommended this place for dinner. The egg rolls were tasteless as was the orange chicken. It was heavily breaded, the chicken was stringy and bad, and the sauce was awful. No hint of orange at all. This was a waste of money as it was inedible and went in the trash. Go somewhere else.

Pleasant and very friendly place! In a shopping center. Excellent choices. plus they were happy to make a special vegetable dish that was not on the menu for us. It felt very welcoming there. I noticed a number a regular customers came because the owners knew them. Let’s not forget the food; we had a vegetable dish, a black bean chicken dish and a vegetable chow fun dish. All really good and good portions.

We’ve been told by a number of people how good the food is at Kirin. We came for lunch and they were right. The lunch menu has lots of choices and each is a complete meal. The service was very friendly and orders came quickly even thou it was busy. Meals were very fresh with great flavors and not greasy at all. We plan on coming back to try other choices.

The restaurant has been there over 40 yrs. and still very good. Each flavor stands out. Unlike some Chinese places where the food all takes on the same taste. It’s just a cut above all else. I’ve honestly never had a bad meal here.
