Fried shrimp and deep fried wraps are REALLY good. Buffalo chicken sandwich is AMAZING and they have great daily and lunch specials. Keep in consideration their sign “we don’t serve fast food we serve good food” so be prepared for AT LEAST a 30 minute wait

I’d used to go to the 21st location very often but the wait time used to be unreal. I’d call 15 minutes before even leaving work in EC, get there and still wait another 20 minutes. Listen that was before the pandemic(so you got an idea how long I’ve been supporting regardless of poor customer service), I recently tried the Broadway location Friday then again Sunday evening and I’d do anything to wait that unrealistic time for good food. My fries were undercooked and chicken EXTREMELY salty and over fried. Some meaty parts were translucent as well like over cooked or cooked twice hard. On 21st the service was horrible but food on point each time. Never a miss! Been to Broadway location twice, service is much better but food wasn’t it both times. I’ll try a third before posting my pics from each visit with another review.

Terrible TERRIBLE sense of urgency! I’ve eaten and ordered from places that also make things “fresh” and “as it’s ordered” I’m also all for supporting black businesses but I HAVE NEVER ever waited over an hour for my food as consistently as these people have you waiting. Not only do you wait FOREVER… they LIE about the time it takes.. I thought I had learned to give them about a half hour longer than they tell you.. boy was I wrong. I called @6:40p she says about 20/25 min so I left to get my order at 7:30p.. I walked in she tells me about 7 more minutes. I gave 10 .. walked back in and she says 2 more minutes!! I WAS DONE!! And this is EVERY SINGLE time I have ordered. Food is decent but not worth that wait EVERY TIME! It’s no excuse.. wasn’t busy this day at all.. I tried with them I really did

If you dont have the entire day to wait on your food dont go! Thought it would be different since they had a different location. Nope, and the girl who answers the phone just hangs up after you place your order. I almost let them keep my money and leave. It’s ridiculous.

I ordered some food through the online app which uses doordash it switch my.driver twice. The second driver took my order n didn’t delivery it. N doordash contacted the store..just know it didn’t end well. 25$ gone down the drain. Smh.

My first experience was great the food was nice, hot, and very flavorful not over or under salted, it took a while on the wait times but it’s a small business very busy taking lots of orders so it’s very understandable but the food is fresh! The location is not in a great place for outsiders if relocated to an easier bigger location they will awesome the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity! So far I have been for two experience both great will be back for souls food next! Two thumbs up for food and service!

He doesn’t wash his hands. Hygiene practices very poor. Don’t eat here unless you want to pay expensive prices to potentially get sick from food borne Illness.
