As far as a restaurant goes, this place is fine – but one goes to places like this not just for dining but the overall experience, which for such a small location is quite exceptional. The staff are extremely friendly and know their material, and they were exceptionally good at interacting with young children. This is a game store with dining available, and for a gamer it really is a fun stop, highly recommended. And, while the food isn’t haut cuisine, it really is a good value and the staff care about making it a great experience. The milkshakes were really stand out and deserve special mention.

The staff are helpful, friendly, and welcoming, the selection of merchandise is broad and great quality, the food is excellent and fairly priced, and the atmosphere is comfortable and safe. A wonderful place for all ages to eat, game, and further their hobbies. With events going on every day and set ups for virtual gaming you’ll never be bored. Highly recommended.

This is a very cool place with a lot going for it. If you are a gamer (video or tabletop) you should visit this place. They have big areas to enjoy lots of game types and have a large assortment of boardgames provided.

The place is a shell of what it used to be. The food has become Subpar at best and the retail looks pitiful for things to buy. The employees are great however as the woman who was sitting at the front gave the best customer service she could. The bistro on the other hand after watching them for about 30 mins the older males were not doing anything besides walking around or playing on there phone while the younger men pulling all the hard work. Milkshakes are still good though which is a plus.

This is a true gem. Spacious gaming areas, set aside for, retro games, pc gaming, 3 VR stalls, a generous ttrpg room, a short order restaurant as well as additional spaces for card gaming as the Pokemon league was present durring my visit. The entire shop was clean, and organized. There is a smaller 1/4 of the shop devoted to merchandise including popular 5ed books, pokemon tcg, miniatures (fantacy and 40k), with some light mini painting supplies. Shop offerings are somewhat limited, in the full scale of things, but obviously lazer focused on there demographic. Above all staff was curious and helpful!

For those who don’t know; Kings Cudgel is a restaurant and gathering place for hobbiest…sorta. Board game lovers, magic the gathering, yu-gi-oh, pokemon, video game, warhammer and Dungeons & Dragons players have a place here. The food is an attempt at high cuisine with ordinary ingredients. A- for effort; C- for execution. Keep in mind that’s one man’s opinion. My few friends that eat there, love the food. Given their throughput on high traffic days; some lower cost, less “fancy” options might get more customers accustomed to eating. As it stands it’s more of a hobby shop that sells $9 burgers and the patrons come in to play not to eat.
