Butcher’s choice steak came out sizzling and was cooked to the perfect temp requested, and Katie is an awesome bartender who has perfected the art of a mojito. Love this place!

I came to Kingdom table for my birthday dinner with friends and I was not disappointed! We had crab cakes, poutine, and salads. Everything was delicious! The atmosphere was super cozy and everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly. We felt right at home!

Kingdom Table is a cute restaurant right in the downtown area. At 7pm on a Saturday night, they were pretty slammed so be sure to call ahead (upstairs) to make a reservation.

We were on vacation celebrating our anniversary & stopped in for lunch. We had originally planned eating at another restaurant, but it was closed so we decided to give Kingdom Table a try. So happy we found this wonderful restaurant. Service was excellent & food was phenomenal!! My husband ordered the burger w/poutine & he was blown away. It was hard to tell which he enjoyed most! He said it was probably in his top 3 burgers, and we travel A LOT!! The poutine was served w/Duck Confit, WOW is the only word that came to mind when I tasted it. So Good! I had ordered a salad which was very fresh with a lovely grapefruit/balsamic vinaigrette. Definitely a place worth checking out. I read the other reviews & not even sure they ate at the same restaurant, must have been a very weird/bad day. Give Kingdom Table a chance.

I went there yesterday with my family, wanting to have a nice and relaxed sit down meal. Server got our drinks and wrote down our order right away, and it was a nice enjoyable wait. This was until we noticed an unusual amount of time had already gone by and our server never once went by our table. Tables were being seated all around us, their orders taken and their food brought out. Our server? Nowhere to be found. We flagged another and she went to check what was wrong with our order. She didn’t come back either. So we decided to close out our bill and leave. This type of service leaves a lot to be desired. We have been here before and it was always a great experience. We were very disappointed this time around.

Food came partially frozen twice in one meal. Didn’t say anything on the wings, but sent the fish back. The dish came back without fries… all of it tasted basic and unenthusiastic at best and not worth the price tag that wasn’t adjusted for food poisoning. Will update with the state of my salmonella.

Food was tasty, especially the poutine and I really enjoyed the smash burger. Priced were a little higher than I’d have liked to pay and the limited food menu while serviceable, it’d be nice to have it expanded.

We’ve been driving by this nondescript basement gem for over a year and had no idea it existed. That changed when I ventured downstairs from the snow-covered sidewalk and asked how someone in a wheelchair could access the dining room. We were escorted in the elevator to the dimly lit, rustic bar and dining room (that had a slight detour along the kitchen), and it only added to the anticipation of a new dining experience! Let me say, the staff (especially the hostess) were so kind and accommodating that the food could have been terrible and we would have come back! Luckily, that was not the case, and the ONLY reason for four of five stars on the food is that the pork enchilada was really a quesadilla. Meals were prepared tastefully, and presented with sincerity in a pleasant mix of basic, yet bold. The French Onion Soup was hearty and rich (but needed the traditional crust of stale bread…hint hint) and satisfying as a meal itself — especially paired with the daily bread board. The daily selection was a maple cinnamon that was good enough to take a load home. The enchilada was delicious, but without sauce, should more likely be called a great tender pork and tangy cheese quesadilla. Service start to finish was hometown friendly with natural conversation, smiles, and shares. Don’t skip a taste of the house made dill pickles that’ll beat your taste buds like a Sour Patch Kid!
