I ordered chicken nugget meal and catfish nugget meal. The chicken nuggets are made with thigh meat. Stringy and tough. I disliked it. The catfish nuggets were mostly breading with a hint of fish inside. Didn’t seem like it was catfish. The fries were burnt and old. I didn’t receive my sodas. This food was not for me at all.

I had the vegetable stew with chicken, also called Benachin. The mild spice was perfect for someone who doesn’t like a lot of spice. It was obvious the chicken was fresh, pulled right off the bone, sooooo tender. Skip the typical American fare and try this little gem of a restaurant!

Ordered pickup. The food was in styrofoam containers that looked like they had been microwaved because they were melting. I still tried the food. It was flavorful but not warmed all the way through. I felt like it was obviously not fresh. I ate some but most ended up in the trash. I really wanted this to be better…

I had the Benachin with beef and my friend got the Yassa with chicken. We both ordered our food spicy. I only wish I’d tried this place sooner. We both liked the Benachin slightly better but both dishes were fantastic. We will definitely be back.
