King Poke Menu – Lomita, CA

Type : Japanese restaurant

Location : Lomita, CA

Our founder, Kotaro Nishina, spent years perfecting his craft as a sushi chef. In 2015, he decided to use his knowledge and expertise to open King Poke. Here, we combine the traditional Hawaiian dish poke with Kotaro’s Japanese roots, and we do things a little differently than most places. All of our sauces and toppings are house-made, including our hotsauce, our chili oil, and the fried onions and garlic that top our bowls. And you get to choose from all these house-made ingredients to build your own bowl. Then, we freshly prepare it for you right here. That way you get to enjoy the bold, tasty flavors the way they are meant to be. And, with our delivery options, we can even bring your order right to you.

Spartan counter serve with a few tables & menu of customizable Hawaiian poke bowls. Based on 392 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.6 stars. Price $

My to-go place for spicy tuna bowls. It’s the best I found yet, and I’m from Hawaii if that helps 🙂 it’s a 20min drive for me but totally worth it. Portions are great and it’s always consistent. They have stamp cards and I’ve already filled a few, getting a free medium bowl each time 🙂 and the price is good.. I feel the other places around charge an arm and a leg

Best Poke place in all of South Bay. Yes, you heard it right. All of South Bay. Try their original bowl, and salmon skin salad, and you’ll be hooked for life!

Different from other poke bowl restaurants that I’ve been to before. You don’t get to choose the fish as you already get 3 types of fish in your bowl. You just have to pick the size, the sides and the sauce. I gave it 3 stars since the fish didn’t seem fresh and I had a hard time distinguishing the 3 types of fish as they all tasted kinda bland or maybe there was too much sauce? I would avoid the fried garlic side as well since it had a burnt taste and some were really hard to chew and got stuck on my teeth. Parking is hard here as well especially on busy days. I would probably go elsewhere next time when I’m craving for poke.

One of my favorite places. Family owned and the fish quality is solid. 10 out of 10!

Been going to this place since 2016. They are consistent with the quality of fish they serve. I just went yesterday, took my friend and she was also happy with their food. I ordered my usual poke bowl with spicy ponzu and an extra spicy sesame. We also ordered the fish taco, it is soooo good!

If you like Poke and spicy tuna. This is the place. I switched from sushi rice to Harusame noodles. Light lighter and not too heavy. Great place with a stamp card deal.

This is the best Poke I’ve had in SoCal. I’ve tried numerous places in the South Bay & in the Valley, including Santa Clarita, and King Poke is simply the freshest and most flavorful.

I’m not really a fan of poke but my companion insisted. I ended up getting the seafood ramen and it was great. The noodles won’t blow you away but the seafood was excellent. Wonderful mix of flavors in the broth too.

This is my #1 Poke place. It’s a bit far from my place (~20 min drive one way) so I tried different places closer by to see if I can find a different place to frequent regularly, but I still haven’t found a better-tasting poke bowl anywhere! It hasn’t always been fresh, given the different factors such as the to-go time, the time of the day, the summer heat, different skill levels of different cooks, etc. BUT, when they are fresh, I experience a little taste of heaven! I have taken a friend from Hawaii there and she told me it’s better here than in Hawaii, and other friends and family all agree on how delicious they are. Their food is so me that I am so eager to share with people around me as much as possible. I think the times when it was most fresh was when they just opened, around 11:30am on Saturdays. I even go here alone when I crave poke bowl. I literally adore and cherish their food. I also usually get taco and California roll on the side and they are good too. I would go early, and if possible, just eat there right away. I guess it suits my Korean palate as I am used to eating bibimbap and the sauce is perfectly balanced, with the sesame oil and toppings all going so well together that there is a party in my mouth every time! The first few bites are just…you have to find out yourself! I can have more fish and less rice but that’s just me. It’s already perfect as it is. It’s rare to come across food that brings pure joy and I’m just so grateful for the experiences.
