For a lunch, we went to Co Sushi at Market Commons. For the same day dinner, we went to King Kong Sushi. King Kong Sushi is five times better than Co Sushi. King Kong Sushi excels on every aspect including sushi quality, customer service, table arrangement, swiftness on orders. Additionally, thank you Ash for great serving.

Hopped in the car soon as we found out it reopened and moved a couple buildings down. First off the new building is much bigger and very open with majority high top tables and some booths on the side. The sushi was amazing! Much better then the other location at the boardwalk. Every roll was great, and the fish tasted fresh as always. The appetizers were good as well with the tempura being light and flakey and the wontons being more fried and crunchy (preference). The only thing I can’t say I 100% have facts on but it seems the price did go up some, although we stuck mainly to the specialty rolls which cost more. If you are doing sushi the price should be expected, and they have little daily specials that can save you some money like “purchase 3 special rolls get a regular maki roll free”. Service was friendly, very fast and great conversation, can’t recommend enough. Glad to have the best sushi place in the area back up and running!

Lauren was an amazing waitress, and Darren (manager) was a wonderful greeter. The atmosphere was positive and we felt welcome. The food and service were great! My daughter and I enjoyed ourselves. We will return.

Today we had lunch at King Kong. The place was half full, service was good, but unexpectedly slow. Food was good! Rainbow roll, Eel roll, spicy Cali roll, etc… we also really enjoyed the ginger dressing on our salad. We were with a party and over all just a couple order mix ups.

Went to Carolina Forest location for the first time since the move to see if they have thought better of getting rid of two of my favorite rolls, Hurricane and Duke. Unfortunately they have not. I used to place a $100 to go order once a week before they moved end of 2022. When Carolina Forest reopened two of my favorite rolls were gone from the menu when I called to place my order. Since then I go to the Broadway location because they didn’t toss out the two rolls. Broadway is not near me or convenient but there’s not much reason to go to Carolina Forest and only get half of what I want when 10 more minutes will get me to Broadway. Spent $215 at Carolina Forrest today just to try other things with the family but sadly will not be going back unless the Hurricane makes a comeback.

It was a busy Saturday night but we didn’t have a long wait and definitely enjoyed our food here. The sushi was not the best I’ve ever had in my life but it was good. The soft shell crab was on point, really loved that. The shrimp siu mai was alright. My highlight that evening surprisingly was actually the ginger dressing for my salad! That was by far the tastiest ginger dressing I’ve ever had! Most likely will be back if we’re visiting Myrtle Beach again.

Best sushi I’ve had in years! Ally was a GREAT server and was always available and checking in on us to make sure we had anything that we could possibly need. The service was very fast and the orders were spot on, even when we made specific requests. We will be eating here anytime we are near Myrtle Beach!
