Stopped in with some locals for brunch. Great menu and our food was delish! Terrific service as well!! It was Father’s day and we didn’t have reservations but high top tables we open. Fun cocktail list. Chicken for the waffle was delicious. The Mac and cheese is also good. Pulled pork on the deviled eggs was tasty. Great experience.

Food and service are absolutely beyond amazing. I had the catfish plate and my friends had the chicken fried chicken. We also had lots of sides. Everything was genuinely super delicious and I’ll be back for sure!

This place really surprised me with how good the food is. It is housed in a rather plain and drab white building which somewhat hides itself from all the other trendy eateries nearby. If my daughter hadn’t wanted comfort food we probably would have never even researched the place on Google nor decided to try it.

As a Texan, I pride myself in BBQ experiences. Let me tell you, this was damn good BBQ. The brisket and ribs were perfection. Their peach bread pudding was also outstanding. Service was excellent and the place looks great too. Deserving of the 5 stars.

It shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone in the city that a Killens restaurant is good. While I lamented the loss of Hickory Hollow when they left this location, it was replaced with a good though pricey option. Pricey can be worth it though – as I found with my delicious beef rib. One rib is a whole meat, and maybe a little more. It’s also not a surprise that Killens does barbecue well. The other dishes were good too, like the homemade banana pudding. I’d skip the bacon parm appetizer though, as the sauce completely masks the flavors of the pork belly.

Excellent restaurant! Highly recommend the Mac and Cheese, Catfish Platter and Creamed Corn. The fries could have used seasoning, easy fix.

This is the second time we celebrated a birthday here. The food and atmosphere is great. The serving sizes are huge! I ordered the chicken pot pie . It was in a 9 inch pie plate for one serving! It was delicious, nice and creamy, well seasoned in a puff pastry crust on the bottom and top. My sons both ordered a special of chopped brisket in a wine sauce, topped with mashed potatoes and melted Gouda. It too was in a 9 inch pie plate, like a Shepard’s pie. My husband got the barbeque plate which wasn’t on the menu, but said they could do it. Excellent and son’s GF got the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. She loved it! We all brought food home with us. If you want comfort food, this is where to go!

I don’t normally take the time out to write reviews, but this was such a fantastic experience. Starting off with top level service from Tony our server. He was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and recommending the bone in pork belly. When I tell you how good this was, it’s hard to describe. My family is still talking about how delicious it was. The manager touch the‘s and made sure everything was delicious. To finish it off. The peach bread pudding was to die for. Highly recommend this place.
