Absolutely loved the food. The seasoning was delicious and just right. The rice and stew was so so good the little meat pockets took me way back to my own childhood back in Boston growing up around a large Kenyan community. But the cherry on top was the amazing welcome we got. They were so warm and generous with their time and costumer service. Love love them and what they are building in our little community. I can’t wait to go back and eat some more food and getting that feeling of homecoming that is so special and rarely found these days. Love the food love the people.

The food is amazing! Ribs and goat are super tender and flavorful and the fries have some kind of seasoning that makes them taste perfect. The imported Kenyan sausages are also the best. I haven’t tried the fried fish yet but I will be going back to get it. Portion sizes are also really big, so well worth the money.

It was my first time to this place and the vibe already surpassed my expectations, the people are courteous, the food is exceptional especially the goat meat it’s a top notch. The seasoning is just right. I would definitely recommend the place. I bet some of you are already drooling from the pictures on their website, well the taste suites perfectly. Go and find out for yourselves. It’s kind of a drive-in hidden street so you may want to slow down so you won’t miss it. I’m yet to go and try more of their foods.

Best Kenyan FOOD in Seattle, Lakewood Washington. Great service! They can get busy but they are super friendly and worth the wait. Make sure you try the kenya sausages, chips, Goat meat and my two favorite fish & pork. Make sure you tell a friend to tell a friend.

Big shout out to @kikwetu_kenyan_cuisine in #LakewoodWA who came to my rescue (I had to cancel my order with a kenyan caterer the night before me nephews early bday celebration #eventplannernightmare). The roasted goat leg, Pilau with meat (traditional rice), Sukuma Wiki (aka collards), beef samosas, and imported kenyan sausage were BANGING!
