I almost cried when the food came out. This is the only restaurant I’ve been to where it feels like a genuine home cooked meal. They are truly a mom and pop shop. I felt nostalgia, warmth, care, and love through the food and I didn’t even grow up eating this cuisine.

Kiki’s Japanese casual dining is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Denver. Very cute local mom and pop Japanese restaurant. My favorite dish is Tuna bowl with creamy sauce (and extra avocado). kimchi sukiyaki, kimchi yakisoba, spicy green mussels, Japanese fried chicken, assorted pickles, and steak. They also have some Japanese Korean fusion dishes too.

Small place for authentic Japanese ramen. It reminds me of Domo Ramen place. Some of the differences that I noticed: The pork was not the usual chasiu pork. The soft boiled egg was not marinated in soy sauce. Generous portion on the ramen

I often say that although Denver didn’t have a strong food scene, it does at least have one GREAT specific spot for any cuisine. And that we severely lacked Japanese food that’s not primarily sushi or ramen.

Very great food and atmosphere!! I go with my friends often and we try different dishes and all of them have been great! My favorite is the ramen, but their combo dishes with rice are amazing. They have a very large selection of food, so even if you have a group with different preferences and allergies, you should be able to find something for you. However, since their food is amazing and there are not many tables, there will be long waits for busy times. I recommend you make a reservation or go on off hours. But I highly recommend!!!

Felt very homely, was able to get a bar seat without a reservation – but looks like you definitely need one if you need a table, it filled up quick.

Cozy and quiet spot for authentic Japanese food made with care. Broth of the tonkotsu and spicy miso ramen were very rich and flavorful. Table was supplied with an array of sauces, plus a shaker of the ramen spice that added just the right punch. I tasted everything, and it was all delicious.
