Visited this place on a Monday. Almost every soul food restaurant is closed on Monday’s. But I’m glad we found this place. Ordered the pork chops, a side of fish, Mac and cheese, and a HUSH PUPPY(cause I only got one). Food was well seasoned. Fish was my fav along with the Mac and cheese. Staff was nice and attentive. Would definitely try this place again.

I ordered wings and red beans & rice, the zydeco pasta, the pock chop & fries and a mystery daiquiri. Everything was cooked well and the daiquiri was nice. My favorite being the red beans and rice! The price for everything was reasonable. The chicken had great flavor and very fresh. The pasta was a typical cajun pasta. The pork chop was a little salty but cooked well. The owner was very nice and offered solid recommendations.

Red beans and rice, chicken wings were great for a Monday lunch special. If the older lady with glasses had a friendlier attitude I would of had a 5 star experience. Also if they could make the floor not sticky it would be a more pleasurable dinning experience.

Took over 30 minutes to get food after ordering from the drive through. Ordered The creole Mac and cheese and zydeco pasta. Both were excessively bland. Literally had no seasoning, and gave me 2 shrimp in the pasta. Worst Mac and cheese and pasta I’ve ever had. Extremely disappointed in the food.

I have only visited once. The food was great! The people and owner was very friendly. This particular time Sha’ Carri Richardson was there eating. That alone says a lot about this place! I highly recommend stopping by and enjoying some great food. I gave 4 stars because everyone can improve but I think this place is as close to 5 ⭐️’s as you can get!

We stayed in Houston overnight on our way to a cruise! OMG this was the best meal I have had in a long time. New experience as I had never had. Cajun food and the crawfish was amazing along with the fish and hush puppies. OMG so GOOD! Will stop again when here!
