We ordered 2 of the new chicken sandwiches last night and they skipped out on the fried onions by mistake and forgot to switch 1 item for us, and when we called, we just wanted to explain what they had forgotten, and they ended up offering to remake the order for us, which we did not expect. I would really recommend this location the staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is well made.

My mashed potatoes with gravy was not given with gravy. I ask for my sandwiches plain and at least half the time they don’t give them plain. They no longer offer the juice pouch for kids, which is fine because they often didn’t give it to us anyway. The staff is always friendly, the food is always hot and fast. The orders are often not correct though. If I got all the way home and then drive back they’ll fix it but who wants to drive 2 times to have the rest go cold to fix something? My dog ate the bland dehydrated potatoes without complaint because she’s much less difficult than me (but she never pays so who is she to complain)

Remember when KFC had good chicken? I do to, so unfortunately, I occasionally decide to let nostalgia rule and I go waste 40 bucks on a tiny bucket of chicken pieces and then suffer the consequences for a day or two. The original isn’t supposed to be crispy, but it is and a 12 piece fits in a bucket smaller than the old 8 piece. Honestly, I wouldn’t even complain if they would just make it like it used to be before they went to the so called healthy oils that ruined the taste and texture and make Charmin so much money. If they would do that, the ridiculous prices for the tiny pieces of crispy not soft and greasy (like I want) under seasoned chicken wouldn’t be quite so bad and I could forgive the gravy having gone down in quality too. They don’t want to be called Kentucky Fried Chicken anymore and I agree that they shouldn’t be: what they did was Kill Fried Chicken.

I went to KFC for dinner 2 days after the tornado. They were slammed, the staff still had a smile on their faces and did a fabulous job despite everything. Shawnee KFC on Harrison, you guys are amazing! Thank you for being so kind and caring while slammed and dealing with the tornado aftermath.

Went through the drive thru at about 9:15-9:30pm. Granted I did have a large order with 7 people to get food for it was still about an hour before they closed but were low on the chicken types I wanted and weren’t able to cook anymore. I know they could but they just didn’t want to. Because of this I had to make substitutions and it was a headache. I had to repeat my order at least 7 times and have it read back to me just as much because items were still missing or done wrong. I was speaking clearly and slowly and still had the issues. It was frustratingly tiresome to say the least. The person that took the order and was at the window were the same person and was friendly and didn’t get an attitude and was extremely apologetic to me.

Ordered online and picked up at the window. Chicken was all supposed to be original recipe but for some weird reason half was cooked way darker or maybe half was not cooked as long…not sure which it was but the darker cooked was more greasy than “normal”.
