It is Easter Sunday and I wanted to have Long John Silvers for a treat. I called to be sure if they were open and they said open until 8pm. I live in Piper City Illinois, about 60 miles south of Morris. We rode on motorcycles to get to LJS in Morris, arrived about 3:45. But the doors were locked! We called on the phone and we were told they were closing at 5pm.

KFC/Long John Silver … we ordered fish n shrimp with fries and coleslaw from the Long John Silver menu. The fries were overcooked, fish and shrimp were greasy and a little overcooked. We have eaten the chicken there before and it was good.

Food was ok. Biggest thing is they don’t accept $100 bills. How lazy is your team to not properly train your workers to be able to spot a fake 100 or how lazy and cheap is your owner for not providing the tools and machines to check bills. Don’t ever not accept certain currencies because your team is incompetent and your owner is trash.

I went through the drive thru and ordered an L2 (chicken) and added a 3 PC shrimp and two chicken tender wraps. I got to the window the total was almost $18. Kid ran my debit card and handed it back to me. Another kid came to the window and said he dropped a chicken tender so he only had enough for one wrap. So I said ok… How about just subbing out for a pic of chicken. So he did. I got my order very quickly after that.. Little to say I should have checked it while I was there but did not as I have an almost hour drive home. They gave me a 2pc fish meal instead that tasted like it had sat there a while it was dried out and way over done. Completely inedible, the fries were also cold overdone and very salty as if they had been sitting a while. Everything was thrown away. Complete waste of my money and time. I do not recommend this place at all.
