Be prepared to wait in line to order but don’t worry it goes pretty quickly and they will come out and take your order when you get close to the register so it’s ready or almost ready by the time you pay. I had the double cheeseburger with bacon added on and it was delicious! Not huge but not skimpy good flavor cheese completely melted and cooked to perfection. Fries are also good kind of reminds me of McDonald’s fries but better. Also had a slice of apple pie which tasted fresh and homemade. Very reasonable prices too. I would recommend getting the xl 32oz drink as their large isn’t very big and I don’t know if they offer free refills. Highly recommend and would absolutely go back!

Food wasn’t as good as I remembered it and the service was very slow. But they were friendly and replaced them when I spilled my fries all over the floor. It’s still an icon and I will come back whenever I am in Lima. Will try a different location next time though.

I came from Toledo to check this place out. The double cheeseburger was very large and very good. I could have been fine with the single as it turns out. The double should have had two slices of cheese IMO. I was a bit disappointed that the place didn’t look a bit more retro, but maybe it’s true that you can’t ever go back. Still, a fun and tasty road trip.

We frequently get the caramel cappuccinos in the morning. Great value and service every time. Thanks to the blond “ish” haired lady who always seems to be there between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m., service is always great and she is always friendly.

I love the Kewpee! Great food at a reasonable price. I love the hamburgers, fries, and malt. I eat at Kewpee at least once or twice a week. They do seem a little understaffed at times, but the employees work very hard and do a great job!

Very disappointed in the food. Taste is still decent, but the size? My jalapeno should not be thicker than the burger. If i wanted to eat mainly bread i would buy a loaf from walmart.

Anyone who is passing near Lima and likes burgers needs to try Kewpee. They are always fresh, juicy, and taste great. I like that they keep the menu simple…unlike the big chains that offer specific combinations with names that define a specific combo of toppings (and it’s often hard to figure out what is on them or not), at Kewpee you order a single, double, then add toppings you want. The chili is great, as are the fries and “shakes” (which are what Dave Thomas copied and called a “Frosty”). The pies are also quite good.

It took forever in line, about 20 minutes, before we could even order! The grill cook seemed like he was taking his good old time! Same with the counter staff. The guy that kept the dining area clean was right on the ball!! As soon as someone left, he was right there cleaning up the area! The food wasn’t as good as it used to be. And the sandwich wasn’t hot, even though it was just made! The French fries were hot, but still not as good as they used to be.

I love kewpees good. I live an hour away and rarely get to Lima but always love a kewpee visit. This time my pie was burnt. My fries were old and the people behind the counter seems frazzled. Won’t go back for a while.

Waited in drive through for just under 30 minutes. Ordered the single cheeseburger with onion and relish. Patty cooked perfectly. Needed more seasoning.Nice size. However, all and all, to me, just another hamburger. Not worth the wait.
