Excellent little diner with a ’50s atmosphere. The owner Kevin personally sat down at every table and took the orders and spent time to talk with everyone old and young alike. Very family friendly place. Food was very good and the rest of the wait staff was very attentive. I’ll be back again.

Kevin’s place is a classic diner with some great food. I tried the crunchy french toast and the eggs/bacon and it was really delicious. The crunchy french toast is really a unique item – apparently it was featured on Chicago’s Best, and I can see why – there’s nothing quite like it. The staff was really nice and down-to-earth. It feels very comfortable, like the people that work there are family. If you happen to be in the Deerfield area, definitely stop by Kevin’s place for brunch/lunch.

Absolutely the best, friendliest place on the North Shore. We go as a family and Kevin treats the kids like they are his own. My daughter practically begs to go back as soon as we leave. The food is awesome, and they are very attentive and helpful.

Adorable ambiance. Amazing food. Great prices. I had the Deerfield french toast. Get it; you won’t be disappointed. My boyfriend had the KP breakfast melt. He loved it. Highly recommended!

Great place but the Denver omelet had tomatoes and I got strawberry jam and not grape. Good food but come on… Messing up a standard such as the Denver… Really!

Kevin is condescending, and a terrible manager. Food is one thing, but having no respect for other people is another. The food is easily replaced by several different area restaurants. Go somewhere else!

Atmosphere sucks. Food sucks. Servers where wierd. Too expensive. Walker Brothers and Wildberry restaurant are 100% better than that bird cage.
