First time here, everything was delicious. I ordered the number 1 (chicken kabobs) with hummus and pita. The service was quick and everything was fresh. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for inexpensive good food.

Authentic Turkish food made from scratch in a small space where you can tell that the owner did his/her best to present a piece of their native Turkey and bring it to life. Tons of Turkish sweets and products available to buy as well. Not a true restaurant and not a true grocery store; more like a mix. The highlight for me was the Turkish coffee; however, the food also I amazing. Enjoyed it!

It’s a Turkish restaurant serving Mediterranean and Turkish cuisine. Family owned, spouses cooking. Good kabob, gyro/shawarma/doner plates with humble prices. Really nice stuff, yummy. You can also buy some Turkish local branded products. Clean, reasonable, yummy halal restaurant.

Had the lamb platter. The lamb was tender and flavorful. You can tell they slow cook it and for a long time. The other dish is the #5 Beef Doner plate. Also got hummus and baklava. EVERYTHING was awesome! We will be back!!! SN: I order a kids Chicken shish kabob and it had a wonderful grilled taste and my son LOVED it!!

8/29/23. Turkish Vegetarian Plate, $12.50. Stuffed Grapeleaves were commercial (frozen + zapped), like most places. Hummus was zesty – enjoyed the flavor. Best of all was the BOREK (Spinach Pastry)!! Fresh, light and flaky. I ordered another to take home ($4.50).

Absolutely delicious and authentic. The Borek spinach pastry was flaky, warm, and made me melt. The kofta plate was heavy and very tasty. The rice texture and flavor was wonderful. I’m eating here every time I visit Norfolk.

This is my first time here and I got the lamb plate and baklava. The lamb plate came with white rice and a little side salad and a pepper and sliced onions. The spices they used to cook the lamb was different and interesting and the lamb was very tender. It also came with a little side of Olive oil and lemon dressing? – I liked it, it was light and refreshing. The baklava was good but was hollow inside, I’ve never had hollow baklava before. I will come back and try their others dishes

This is not a fancy restaurant by any means but it is a hidden gem in Hampton Roads area. The food is always fresh and tasty. My favorite is their chicken kabab. The owners are always smiling, too. You will be pleasantly surprised here.
