I’ve lived in the Kershaw area for over 20 yrs….. Gus’s pizza, has always been good. But the last year…. The food has sucked, and it’s expensive. So I only ordered a pizza… it’s overcooked and my kids hated it! Good Bye Gus… whoever took over… sux!!

It’s a nice and reasonably priced place to eat. The girl did get my order wrong a little but it was still good. I asked for no mushrooms and there were mushrooms but my daughter picked them off. I asked for a cheeseburger plate that wasn’t in my order so we had to wait a few more minutes for it. But the food was good and they did correct the mistake with no argument. So I would recommend this place.

I usually go to Gus’ whenever I visit my Mother. Brought my husband here years ago and he still asks me to bring him some pizza back if he does not travel with me. The supreme pizza was delicious, but the pepperoni pizza was a little dry and hard. My mom , also, tried a house salad. The tomatoes and peppers were in very large pieces. Maybe that is how their salads are made, but she had to cut up the salad pieces even more. I am used to better with Gus. I will give them another chance whenever I go back to Heath Springs, but if it is not good next time, I will have to let Gus go ☹.

Driving through and stopped for a late lunch. Ordered a pizza, gyro, garlic bread and cheese sticks with a kids chicken tender. Delicious food and great service. Would definitely stop here again.

It took around a hour to get our food cooked and brought out. The most complicated entree was my son’s cheese pizza and the restaurant was at only around 5% capacity and it was 3 hours before closing. Not sure if they just had a lot of local retuning customers that they had to honor and put ahead in line, or were just having a bad day, but we were embarrassed for them because service should be more organized and faster that this!

This place reminds me of the family owned Italian restaurants in New Jersey. We ordered cheesesteaks and they were fantastic. The French bread was fresh, perfectly toasted on the outside and soft in the center. There was plenty of meat inside and it was delicious. I’d definitely go back!

Very cool place. We got pineapple pizza (controversial, I know) and it was excellent! This is THE place to eat at in Kershaw if you ever visit – good stuff.

The food and service were great. They had a huge order of pizzas though, and ran out of dough. That was disappointing, but sometimes things happen. The lasagna was really good.
