Well, being from Texas; the bar is set high. So, Kennedy’s BBQ was OK. My Brisket Sandwich was kind of dry. It was good, but not great; sorry. 🙂 Sister Ruth enjoyed her pulled pork sandwich. We were visiting the NFL Football Hall of Fame in Canton and this lady Becky told us about Kennedy’s.

Small little place that boasts about how old it is. Short to the point menu. I ordered brisket and Mac and cheese. Neither of which had flavor of any kind. The brisket tasted like it was sitting in water most of the day. There was no smoke ring or bark visible. The brisket was also very lean. The Mac and cheese was over boiled pasta with grated cheese sprinkled on. There was no cheese sauce made.

I’ve loved this Canton staple for most of my life. Tasty meats piled high, savory soups and fluffy cornbread make for a great lunch experience. The brisket was especially good on this occasion and Tatiana was a kind and swift server!

The food was really gross. Like for a BBQ place to serve me wet meat with no smoke flavor or salt or anything, and expect the BBQ sauce to cover it up is just plain wrong. There mac and cheese was just cooked noodles with cheese melted on top. Highly not recommend for BBQ. I mean store bought was better. Never again.

This place is a special little lunch spot that has stood the test of time. Soups are good, sandwiches are perfect size and the relish is a must have on a ham sandwich. From what I remember as a kid the shakes and iceceeam were good as well.

They have the best ham! I grew up in Canton and my mom always got it. Whenever I’m in town I always pick up a pound to take back home. Will sometimes drive to Canton just to get the ham.

We did not eat there. The pulled pork is great! My husband had the beef sandwich. He liked it but I thought the beef was a little tough. I would like to try the brisket next time!

We have used them for several catered events and love the food. The owners and employees are wonderful. The quality and quantity of the food is outstanding and the prices are very budget friendly. We have other events coming up and this is our go to place.

When you walk into this place looks like you went back in time to the 1950s. I had the pulled pork sandwich with little bit of coleslaw on it for $4.90 plus $0.50 for the coleslaw. It was delicious, I came in for the brisket but they are out the last time that I had their brisket it was awesome. They also carry Troyer pies, I never tasted them but they look great.

The girl working the counter was super welcoming and kind! She told us a little bit about the place since it was our first time there. For 101 yrs old everything was well kept and clean! Our food was delicious and decently priced. Will definitely go back and visit their other restaurant/ice cream parlor!!
