Unfortunately, my first dining experience at Kelly’s wasn’t a great one. I ordered the fried scallop platter which came with onion rings and french fries. The scallops were simply okay. Not much flavor there besides salty. They were a bit watery and the breading kept falling off. Tartar sauce didn’t really make them any better. The onion rings were what I would consider inedible with soggy breading, zero flavor, and the onion itself was undercooked and crunchy. The fries are typical flavorless thick cut frozen fries. Sadly, the ketchup was the most flavorful thing on my plate. Based on my experience, the $24 (+tax) price tag isn’t exactly worth it, although there were a LOT of scallops on the plate. Overall, I’m going to give Kelly’s three stars because I would like to come back and give another menu item a try, rather than basing it off one meal I wasn’t a fan of. My boyfriend, on the other hand, loved the scallops, but agrees with me on fries and onion rings. Next time, he’d just order the scallops by themselves.

Haven’t had a good roast beef sandwich for a long while. Today’s visit didn’t disappoint. Got a large beef 3 way. It was piled high with great tasting roast beef. Washed it down with a cold Harpoon Ipa. Place was clean and staff was friendly. Will definitely be back on my next visit.

Stopped here with my family after a sports event. Everyone else ordered roast beef sandwiches, which they liked. This review is for the fish sandwich. I added lettuce, which it came out on the sandwich as a single giant dark green leaf under the fish. When I picked up the plate off the tray, water leaked onto the table from between the bottom of the fish and that flowing green leaf of lettuce. The bottom of the fish was soaking wet and water pooled onto the lettuce (should’ve taken a picture).

Friendly staff BUT the seafood I got today was absolutely disgusting! The only thing we could stomach was the popcorn shrimp. The scallops didn’t taste like scallops and they smelled bad. The “white fish” I was told was cod but as a seafood Manager for 10 years, I know for a fact it was NOT Cod. And when I told them it was inedible, all she said was “sorry”!! Save your money people because it’s all overpriced anyway!
