Kefi Menu – Knoxville, TN

Type : Greek restaurant

Location : Knoxville, TN

Kefi is a concept rooted in Greek which translates very roughly to Profound Passion. This simple statement captures the essence of what we are trying to bring to Knoxville. Food is an integral piece of the ancient Mediterranean culture. Stroll the shores of Greece and you will will find tables filled with small, healthy plates each full of color, herbs, and taste. The food is cherished, but more importantly, it gathers us around the table with the ones we love. Kefi will bring this rich Mediterranean culture to the downtown streets of Knoxville.

Recently, We celebrated a family birthday at Kefi. We had a relatively big party. The servers and wait staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, making suggestions for drinks and food. We were all very impressed with the quality of cocktails. We had three people in our party try their cocktail flights. The food was wonderful. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. We will definitely be back again.

The atmosphere of Kefi is upscale with appropriate lighting and a nice musical selection. We also appreciated the taller booths that provided a private dining experience.

This restaurant is so cool. The ambience, the drink, the food… all amazing! I grew up eating Mediterranean cuisine, as my parents are from Egypt. And Kefi is phenomenal. First of all, I ordered a spritzy drink that had a popsicle in it?! My kitschy self loved that experience. And the flaming cheese was quite literally fire. No joke. They lit it on fire, guys. Kefi has family-style dining; so I tried to take that into consideration when looking at the prices, as they can be a bit higher than the norm for Knoxville dining. The lamb shank was absolutely delicious, as well as the Greek salad! So much cheesy goodness. You absolutely cannot pass up dessert, either. Everything was just so yummy!

This was our first visit to Kefi to celebrate my birthday. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. The bartender, Landon, was a delight and very helpful in guiding us through the dinner menu. Yes, we ate at the bar, which was very unique in its own way. The drinks were very good, and the food was phenomenal. We will definitely go back to enjoy their cocktails and cuisine. It’s a winner!

Our favorite tapas place in all of Knoxville! Everything is delicious and made from scratch. The drinks are interesting and exquisite but the flaming cheese appetizer is simply the best! If you love this place and enjoy Italian I recommend their sister restaurant Bella located in Maryville.

Every time I go to Kefi, it’s an amazing experience. I love it so much that I’ve introduced several friends and family members to it. My only disappointment is that they took the fried artichoke hearts off of the menu. I highly recommend Kefi. All of the dishes I’ve tried have been fantastic. The drinks are delicious. You won’t be disappointed.
