I think this is one of the most overlooked places to eat in Lexington. I had the breakfast burrito and it was huge, freshly prepared and absolutely delicious!! One of the best I’ve ever had!! Especially for $4.50!! Also, whatever you do Don pass up the banana pudding it’s delicious!! It’s not some flavorless institutional made pudding. They actually make it fresh, taste like homemade!! I had to keep myself from buying one to go!! The service was awesome!! Go check this place out for breakfast or lunch you won’t regret the trip!! I know I will definitely be back!!!

The staff at the Keeneland kitchen are fabulous! I was greeted by the sweetest woman as soon as I entered, and she helped me get a great order with what I had left in my wallet to spend. I felt like she really cared that I was fed and didn’t go hungry. Then the gentleman at the register was super friendly as well and talked to me about where I was from for a few minutes. I arrived not longer before closing, so the staff could’ve been curt and rushed me out, but instead were some of the nicest people I met my entire trip in Kentucky. They helped make my Keeneland experience over the top! I’ll definitely stop back in if I’m lucky enough to make my way back to horse country. What a great bunch of people!

I love going to the Track Kitchen each time I visit Keeneland. I’ll go in the morning for breakfast which is great – it’s fresh, you can either have what they are serving or they’ll make you an omelet or pancakes if you like. The cost is minimal and you get the company of trainers and jockeys while you’re eating. A fun place to eat when you’re at Keeneland or just visiting.
