7/17/23 at 702pm approx Patricia refused to serve us because they have a no pet policy. I have service animal and he has his service harness on. They required us to sit on the patio if we were to eat there. I explained he is a service animal and that was against the ADA regulations and asked for her manager. She stated he wasnt there and told me she is just following the rules that people may be allergic to pets. I asked her to call her manager which she did. She spoke to him in the kitchen for a couple of minutes then handed me the phone. Marcel is the owner or manager and i explained to him that we had a service animal and i had explained to Patricia he was trained and in a marked service harness. Marcel told me they have a strict no pet policy at which i reiterated he is a service animal and that rule is not applicable for service animals and we are not required to sit on the patio either according to the ADA and asked him to look up the rules with the website i could direct him to. He stated they have the right to refuse service to anyone and they would not allow my “pet” in the restaurant. I told him i would be reporting this to the ADA and he told me to go ahead. I have reported this issue and am waiting for a response. I have eaten inside on a number of occasions and very much enjoy the food but this was unacceptable

Nice food. Chicken plate and hummus. Good flavorful chicken and sauce. Pita bread was good. Rice was very good, wish they served more. Hummus was good and had some good spices on top.

It’s the only Mediterranean style restaurant in Madera.. So it’s an opinion if you’ve had everything else and need to change it up but FRESHER PRODUCTS are desperately needed. For a place that loves to charge so much for a sliver of meat and all salad you would hope that salad would be at least fresh. Rice is over cooked. The best thing about this place is the Hummus. Super over priced for the quality and definitely quantity.

Editing my review from three years ago. I’ve never had a bad meal from here. The food always tastes fresh and great. Sorry to say I stopped here for a gyro plate and the meat was dry like the desert. It looks like they reheated it on the grill or gave me only the outside ends. I can understand that restaurants are doing their best but honestly this was the worst gyro that I have had. Without tatziki or hummus on the side this would have been inedible. I’m hoping this is a one time deal as I would hate to have to drive out of town for Mediterranean food.

Chicken Kebab Plate only had 6 little pieces of chicken… disappointed… will never come here again . Husband complained to them about it but as usual around here in Madera they act like deer in headlights and pretend to not understand.

I had Kebab Grill cater for a small in-service presentation today, and I have to say, the food was amazing! The kebabs were nice and tender, hummus was wonderful! I’ve eaten a lot of Middle Eastern food in my life, being a former professional bellydancer, and I would easily put this place in my top 5!
