Had a short layover in Kansas City so the family and I stopped at the Market City for dinner. We enjoyed meals from Taste of Brazil. Service was good. Food was delicious and so flavorful!!! Really enjoyed my beef sandwich. Would definitely visit again.

Went to the City Market Coffee Roasters. Line was long but moved quickly, service was very friendly. My original burrito was hot and fresh tasting. While a good, basic breakfast burrito, it would have been better with the salsa (but that was forgotten). Also small for the price but probably normal for airports. Coffee was great as was the pastry, ‘poptart’ was good sized. Will visit again.

The City Market in this airport consists of a small collection of shelves containing local items and KC emblazoned items. A decent place to pick up some last minute souvenirs, though prices are a little high. I wish they had a better variety of local foods. They only carry BBQ sauces/rubs, pickled items, chips, and popcorn. No sweet stuff or snack items that travel well.

This place is rude and Gabriel Rhodes was extremely racist and unhelpful.. when asked for a manger he had an attitude pushed badge in face when asked his name.. just skip it as a whole there are many other local restaurants to choose from. As a KC local who frequents the actual city market coffee it give the entire franchise a bad rep. I definitely will NEVER spend money at the MCI location and I’ll probably skip the City Market location also this left a ruined the company reputation.

This place looks like a food court but apparently it’s a restaurant. They took my order and then i went to sit down. Apparently that’s wrong. It needs some signage to explain that while it looks like a food court, it isn’t. Generally the new terminal is lacking some signage (like signs at the exits pointing to baggage claim). But, it’s clean and a beautiful facility.

Took forever for someone to take my order. Ended up having to take out instead of dinning in. They were out of what I wanted to order. Then, the server got my order wrong. The sandwich I got was super salty and oily. I had to throw half of it away. Food at the original branch of city market was way better than this. I was excited to hear about the restaurants in the new airport but this was very dissapointing.

This place is CANCELLED. go here if you want a disrespectful barista who is INSANELY Rude. Coffee roasters? No dirt water makers. They treated us like garbage when they served us a latte with soy milk, and did not inform us of this. Luckily, my friend only has a mild allergy but she still had a flare up that resulted in her not being able to BREATHE. never in my life have I had a coffee shop not advertise the alternative milk (if there is one) in a coffee. Shame on you. Abebech i hope your pillow is always warm and you never get a good latte ever again.

Service was very slow and waitress did not seem to care, we were almost late to our flight and she seemed sarcastic that our food was in the kitchen for 20 minutes. When the food finally came out it was all cold and mushy. Just so everyone knows, a side of fries is an extra $4.50! Does not come with meal.
