Yes! We just happened to stumble across this place on our way to our hotel from the airport. And it happened to be open on Christmas Day.

I was in town for a brief stay, and was craving African food. My passenger googled this place while I was driving in rain storm trying to not get lost.. so I just went with it. It’s location in a small brick building co-joined with a Middle Eastern Store/Shop. When you walk in its kinda drab, 3 tables, no decor or inviting atmosphere that you would eat in comfortably. Menu has basic East African food (if your looking for Injera/Kati Kati etc..its not on the menu) but it took about 15 min to order & 15 minutes wait for our food, I ordered Goat & Rice, my friend ordered beef suhkar & rice, 2 beef kabobs. Taste: Mediocre- it was “decent”. You get a huge portion of rice vs. anything else. Avg price $18 for entree’s. We spent around $45 for our 3 items. Would I go back ? Yeah if I were limited on options and was absolutely craving E. African food 🙂

I really loved this restaurant. The owner is the sweetest person ever and it’s a family run business. It’s has traditional Somali food with a good mixture of American options as well! Delicious, definitely worth the visit!

Home cooked Somali comfort food. I had beef sukhar. Very well spiced. The green sauce served with it was so good. Huge portions. Great price.

I loved it! Got the #2 Philly Cheesesteak W/ . It was sooo good. Took about 30 mins but it was definitely worth it. Never seen a place with such an exotic menu. Everything from goat meat to lamb legs to all kinds of fish. Staff are a very polite family. Although it’s more beaten up than the previous pics on here. I’ll show you the pics I took. But don’t let that shy you away from this place, it’s amazing!

The SAMBUSA was delicious. The sauce was flavorful but Spicy. They were very courteous and the place was clean. They have a store connected to the restaurant. I looked around in the store while I waited for my food. The Man running the store was very polite and showed me some of the products he had for sale.
