The perfect crispness of the katsu with the tender, juicy meat is absolutely perfect. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and will leave with a very happy stomach. Recommend to everyone to try out this place!

This kitchen is seasoned with love. I can confidently say that Kazone serves the best katsu, a popular Japanese comfort food of breaded cutlets in the DMV area.

The weather was nice with my daughters, so I went there because there was a don katsu restaurant that my two daughter had eaten before. The cheese katsu and rosu katsu were grilled so crispy, and they gave me a spicy sauce, but I ate them all. I highly recommend the Okonomiyaki. I should have taken a picture before eating, but it’s a pity that I only took a picture while eating. The restaurant is clean and the service is very good.

Good cheese quality and crispy katz.

Really yummy fried katsu, their snow onion sauce was heavenly. I really liked their spicy sauce that came with it. The katsu here has a really nice crispy authentic fry unlike some other places I’ve tried and the service was efficient and nice. The pork was nicely sized and perfect for a meal. Reviews are a bit weird here about the service, not sure why people are so picky about a casual dine in restaurant.

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly people, and great food. The Kaz Sando was as delicious as it looks. I hope to be back again soon. Thank you for a lovely experience.

I went on Saturday when it just opened at 11am. The fried batter was thin and so crispy, the meat was very soft and together they were so good. The owner was very nice and kind.

Kazone is a fantastic restaurant that serves both Japanese and Korean cuisine. Their menu features a variety of dishes, but their katsu stands out. Especially their cheese katsu and chili katsu are must-try items. The cheese katsu is a deep-fried cutlet of pork, topped with melted cheese with a savory and spicy sauce. The chili katsu is a similar dish but sits on top of melted mozzarella cheese and vegetables. Finally topped with the spicy sauce added for an extra kick of flavor. Both dishes are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, making for a satisfying and delicious meal.

4.5 stars. The service wasn’t as attentive as it could have been, but they did provide extra miso soup and salad for my daughter even though we were sharing an entree. The place is clean, but in my opinion they could clear the tables a bit faster. Only one waiter that I could see, and another gentleman behind the counter on the computer.

I LOVED this place. Katsu is a really hard dish to get right and you can tell how much effort went into getting everything perfect. The owners were incredibly nice and sweet, and we’re so glad that we drove all the way up from Maryland.
