Originally a conveyor belt joint, Kazoku has now adopted a more traditional sushi bar concept. It’s a niche for the sushi lover who enjoys higher grade fish that doesn’t break the bank. Can’t recommend them enough.

Randomly picked a place for dinner because we missed lunch and we were seated immediately. Rolls were bomb! Like way better than anticipated. The chefs were right there making my roll and the appetizers were yummy too. Small location but plenty of dining area. It wasn’t busy when we went and there is plenty of parking.

The food was awesome, no doubt. You could see the chef make it for you. Their selection of food is diverse. You’ll find California and Philly inspired specialty rolls. The ambience is okay too. They have a conveyor belt that makes food go around but it was NOT operational during the time we went here. Only downside for me is the price. We spent 80 on food here and it was just me and my wife. You can check out the menu. I would go to Kats Sushi if I wanted to really get stuffed with Japanese food without going broke.

Get right down to it. Food is delicious. On point. The sushi chefs really did their thing. Hard recommend on the food. For seating, my family and I went on a Saturday. There was a bit of a wait. It led me to believe that the food was going to be worth it. Whilst waiting, a party of 3 walked right up to the front and claimed their reservation, in front of us and another walk up family. So, make reservations to this place. It’ll save you a wait, perhaps. There might be 5 or 6 tables to the right, and a sushi bar to the left. It’s a little cramped by the bar, and that’s where we sat, but it didn’t seem to have that much of an affect on the actual food. In hindsight, I would reserve a table for 4. Full circle, the food was superb. Good job.

Kazoku is a sushi restaurant with a conveyor belt which was not running when we went. There is a wait even for a Wednesday night so I recommend making reservations. The food here is bit on the expensive side, but it is REALLY good. The service was SUPER nice. They checked up on us several times while eating and everyone, including the chefs, said thank you when we left. Extra points.

I got the aloha bowl, salmon, ahi, hamachi, crab or imitation mayo crab mix, and avocado over rice. The food is good I would imagine the rest of it is too. The rice was my favorite. Nicely seasoned not too sweet, sour, or bland. On the pricy side I think it’s worth it for the quality. The bowl was $17.50 ish a 7 piece nigiri set is $19. If you are looking to keep the costs below $20 I would go somewhere else but if you are willing to spend more definitely worth it. Staff is nice and quick.

My wife and I have been here twice… Once before the Pandemic and the second time a couple of days ago… Both visits were awesome… The entire staff was very friendly and quick to make sure that we were happy with our dinning experience… Everything was fresh and very tasty… My wife and I are definitely looking forward to going back there next week… Stay safe and blessed everyone… Aloha’s
