We’ve recently discovered this hidden gem when stopped there for dinner on the weekend. Now we do takeout from this place almost every week. Their sushi are always fresh and delicious, and the prices for regular rolls are ok, the special rolls are a little expensive. The service is very friendly and fast.

Really great sushi!! First time here and everything was amazing. Quick and polite service. We got tempura udon, the “sushi regular” sushi entree and a few different kinds of rolls (not pictured). I honestly can’t choose a favorite thing because everything was super yummy and high quality. The nigiri is so fresh and melts in your mouth. Prices are very reasonable as well. Highly recommend if you’re craving some tasty sushi! We will definitely be coming back 🙂

My wife and I learned about Kazoku after COVID started, and it’s by far the best sushi around. It’s not the closest sushi place to us, but it’s the only one we frequent. Up until recently, they’ve been takeout only. We finally went into Kazoku to sit down 2.5 years later, and it’s, of course, even better!

This is my new favorite sushi restaurant in Michigan. Incredibly fresh ingredients, the rolls were perfectly balanced, the staff was great and the food came out fast. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. We ordered the Chef Special, Las Vegas, S & T, and the Square Lake roll.

I have eaten at Kazoku at least 75 times since moving to Michigan in 2019. It was the first restaurant I ever dined at when I moved here and it was so good I couldn’t believe it. No way a little sushi spot nestled in a shopping center could be so good. But IT TRULY IS. I went on a hunt to find “the best sushi” thinking if my first stop was that good there had to be better. I tried over 15 different sushi spots in the area (including some of the top ranked sushi spots in metro detroit) and not one spot even comes close to Kazoku. The freshness, the quality, the price— all absolutely amazing. The specialty rolls are so well thought out and all of the flavors work together. This is the best sushi I’ve ever had not only in Michigan but the US (and we’ve eaten a LOT of sushi lol). You won’t regret coming here, either dining in or taking out!!

kazoku sushi is seriously the best sushi I’ve ever had. Everything is SO FRESH and delicious. Also it’s super affordable, yet the quality of the sushi is beyond phenomenal. I wish I could give this place over 5 stars because it’s that amazing. It is a 40 minute drive from my house, but it is worth the drive. I will come here forever! Their shrimp tempura and American dream roll are my favorite rolls that I get everytime.

Lovely joint, nice cozy family feel and solid, fresh sushi and excellent service. Had the omurice and while there was no runny yolk it was hearty and tasty. Didn’t try any of the korean dishes, well except the bulgogi roll. Worth a visit if you’re nearby but not enough to drive out of the way.
