Nice hibachi restaurant in the middle of town. They have most of the dishes that other hibachi restaurants have on their menu. The service is very quick and the staff has always been nice. The last time I was in they mentioned they would be moving locations soon to a newer building up the road. Good food, food service, and I would go again.

Very clean, uncluttered dining room. Slow night, we were the only diners all evening but they had a few to-go pick-ups come in. Hostess was very nice. Food was good. Not as flavorful as some of the other more expensive places but it was cooked well. The crab Rangoon was ok but there are only a handful of restaurants that I have been to in my whole life that have served delicious crab rangoon. Veggies, steak and lobster were good. I don’t know what cut of steak I had but it was tender and cooked to order. The rice and veggies could stand a tad bit more seasoning. The yum-yum sauce is on the runny side but it added some flavor to the rice and veggies. Everything is served on disposable plates and cups for the moment since they are moving to a new location whenever the new building is finished up. They will relocate to the plaza beside Aldi, where Ding Tea is. They will add more to their menu, i was told. I would definitely come back. If you want an affordable steak-veggies-and-rice fix without paying a higher price, this is the place. I will definitely come back to this location and look forward to the new location on Race St opening up.

“Hibachi” for me has always meant very expensive Japanese steakhouses that should be renamed Japanese fried rice house since that is the key food item served there for me and others I know. However, the rice, protein, and veggies are not innately expensive, it’s the show and grill tables that costs so much and takes so much time. Have you, like me, ever wanted to just get that delicious fried rice, protein choice, and vegetables for cheap and fast and skip the show? Even at those traditional hibachis, if you choose a normal table or booth or even take it to go, the prices are still very high for mostly rice. This place is the answer all of us hibachi lovers have long been waiting for! Quickly and cheaply order your hibachi and it’s made to order hot and fresh just like the expensive places but for so much less, I paid $8.50 for a large plate of hibachi chicken that was generous enough that it was as if I ordered extra rice. It’s balanced such that you can easily add a bit of soy sauce or, as I do, an extra yum yum sauce or two to make it to your taste. It seems as though they make their own yum yum sauce and, relative to the nearby expensive hibachi competitors, it’s a bit thinner, but more flavorful. For my taste, it’s the best sauce. The service was excellent, they were so kind, friendly, fast, and accommodating. For those of us who already love hibachi, come give this place a try! For those who haven’t tried it before, this place is ideal since it won’t be such a time and money commitment. I’ll be returning there often for that generous lunch special!

Just had my first meal here and we will be back. The food was cooked fresh after ordering and was very delicious. We ordered the chiken teriyaki. The owner, Katrina was the most friendly lady you could ever meet. She even gave us a bottle of water while we waited for our order. Great place!

This restaurant is amazing. I’ve lived in Jonesboro for my entire life and have been to probably every hibachi restaurant in town, but this place is easily the best. They have the best food, prices, and customer service. They’re awesome!!

I absolutely love going to hibachi express. It’s always clean and the staff are always very nice. It’s one of those places where you know it’s always going to be the same when you order it. Always delicious. With a family of my size is rare that we all can come to an agreement on one place. We all agree on this.

Decided to poke my head in here and order dinner. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! The restaurant was clean, and service was very cordial and fast. The register attendant was very nice, and felt welcomed at the restaurant. After a 10 minute wait, he brought me my food for takeout. I was thoroughly surprised to find two soy sauce packets, two to-go cups of Yum Yum sauce, a fork and a napkin in my take-out bag. Very impressed with the service and quality of the food.

Mrs Katrina has the best food and best service town! She greets you by name, and even what you want without having to order. Good portions, and not afraid of special requests due to dietary restrictions. If you haven’t gotten to know her, you are missing out!

The food was okay! The portions were not accurate—- you get 70% rice : 20% meat : 10% veggies. Under the chicken was a pile of rice to make it look like you had more chicken. The steak was sprinkled over the mountain of rice. I was not impressed.

Best “hibachi” in Jonesboro. Service is always top notch! They call you by name, are always friendly, and really care about your experience. I know they don’t cook in front of you, but the food is excellent and the prices are good.
