1st time I’d ever been to this restaurant was today. 6/4/23. I got a to go order of shrimp and salmon combination. Good portions in fact I have enough for lunch tomorrow. The food was good I will be back. Very reasonably priced. I’ve been to several Japanese restaurants in Winston-Salem and that’s same combination would cost me way more money. I happened to speak with the owner I believe and he was very nice. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I really really love the food here!! it’s so good one of my favorite places in walkertown to eat, but the workers in the front are a hit or miss, the guy in the bucket hat always feels like he’s rushing me and the tone sounds fake and the girl is sweet but a little ditzy i’ve had orders with them that have been hit or miss but i enjoy the guy in glasses always so funny and he hasn’t messed up my orders.

Waited 40 minutes for 1 entree and 2 sushi rolls while others ordered after us and got their food before us. They also charge extra for any sauce you want on the side even though the sauce already comes with the dish.

The Kaze Japanese Grill Experience (Call In/Pick Up Edition). I had two things on my mind on this day: shopping at Roses and trying Kaze, lol. So, after buying some cheap finds, I called in my order. First, I ordered their mixed vegetable plate with a side of ginger and hot sauce. I also ordered their spring rolls. Then, I asked about their soup but, they only had miso. I’m not a fan of miso, but I was hoping they had clear onion soup.

My jumbo shrimp and noodles were delicious but the rice and the carrots in our other dishes were cold. The rest of the meals were good.

I placed an order online of streak hibachi with no vegetables and they gave me 3.92oz , I feed my dog more than that when I grill steaks. Total rip off, they used to hook it up a couple months ago but not

Kaze is a nice place to grab a quick bite. Food from the Habachi grill is pretty good and portions are generous. The sushi is just OK and the menu is limited to really basic items but it’s always been fresh.
