We ordered lunch and got the fried saimin, lawai crispy ginger chicken and half order calamari. Everything was good. Got fried rice and Mac salad with the chicken. Everything was on point, food was just like how it’s supposed to be when eating plate lunches back home on Oahu. Would have been better if had 2 scoops of rice with the amount of chicken. Always a go to spot when I’m down that side of Seattle.

Had a wonderful lunch here and totally trusted my friend from Hawaii to do the ordering 🙂 Especially loved the very gingery chicken soup as it felt so comforting and very reminiscent to me of Taiwanese herbal/gingery soups! Perfect sick day food. The rest of the food slapped too

Solid local place for comfort Island food. Musubi was decent. Kalua Pork was good but a bit on the salty side. Mac salad was ok. Not bad but not great either. Still a place I’d go back to.

This restaurant is the best. Highly recommend. The kalua pork is fantastic and so is the ginger chicken. Don’t come here and expect speed. Come when you are willing to enjoy the fabulous flavors and the great people.

Delicious food. It’s take out only now (we were there in Nov 2022) but they let you sit down and eat inside the resturant. Street park but we had no problem finding a spot.

The food was phenomenal, but I have to recommend going before a rush. Its a popular place for good reason, so you might have to wait 20 minutes to get your food. With limited seating space, you may have to do take out. Spam musubi and hawaiian sun will always bring me in, but the cucumber kimchi will keep me coming back. The pricing is great, and I highly recommend considering the all day breakfast menu.
