This is my easily our favorite food truck on the island. The Boba is real and easily the best that we’ve found so far. We usually get the dragon fruit and mango boba. They use real fruit unlike a lot of the places. The meal portions are large and cooked fresh when you order. Everything on the menu seems mostly healthy. We’ve had the teriyaki chicken sandwhich, garlic shrimp salad plate, garlic mahi plate and the shrimp plate. This place is quick and they are very friendly. Our meals total cost was over $70 both times though, boba included.

Hawaiian food seems to be fusion food. Got this dish that sounds western but is literally a Chinese style pork dish. Taste is OK but gets very salty towards the end.

We were starving and decided to try Kauai Boba and Barbeque…wanted to grab and go to Kalapaki Beach. Gotta say I was pleasantly surprised. Food was Ono, good size portions and reasonably priced. We ordered the chicken katsu plate, mixed plate and My nephew got a pineapple & passion fruit Boba.

Incredible taste and portions for a great price! If you are anywhere near make sure to stop for a bite! I got the moco loco and it was really good.

We were only in Kauai for two days and ate here twice! It’s a food truck (they take cards) by a canal with roaming chickens (like many places on the island) and definitely gives off vacation vibes. Walking distance from the cruise port so it’s a great place for passengers to stop for authentic Hawaiian food (don’t forget the Spam Musubi) or a five minute drive from the airport if you’re hungry after a long flight or to grab a bite before heading back to the mainland.

Just a bit of advice: Garlic, while delicious, is not a seasoning. I generally love garlic and use it most of my cooking but that doesn’t mean it’s a substitute for simple salt and pepper; without which, your ahi tuna unfortunately tastes extremely plain. Just hit that previously frozen filet with a dash of pepper and salt and fry in some oil and you’ll have 10x the flavor compared to just relying on the bottled pre-diced garlic and preservant water solution.

Really liked the kalua pork – it comes with rice and macaroni salad. I like how they cook the cabbage and give it flavor, not just raw cabbage with little taste like other places. We liked the garlic shrimp ok, but the pork plate was tastier.

This place is super good. Definitely more than the 4 star rating it has now. The BBQ plate was great and the garlic shrimp were the best on the island…not playing. We met a Swiss engineer under the cabana and had a 20 minute conversation.

Quality food, fresh ingredients, and the best prices. I definitely recommend the garlic shrimp. Get a boba to cool off. If you like musubi they’ve got the best I’ve ever had on any island. I’d be a regular if I lived here, but I’ll definitely be back!!

Best prices in comparison to everything within walking distance. I got the bento and it was tasty and good. I am not 100% sure but I did not not feel great a few hours later and the next day. I think it loosened me up if you know what I mean. I do apologize however maybe this will make or break your decision.
