Was in the area for an appointment and finished right about lunchtime, so I luckily got a chance to pick up some grub from kau kau! The lady before me was picking up a phone order, so I asked what she ordered. Dynamite Furikake Salmon sounded too good to pass up, so I ordered it too! Super dooper delicious and such a large portion! The owner was sooo friendly, which seals the deal with this place! Will be back again for sure! I got lucky and found parking on the street. I recommend coming with a friend just in case, since parking can be a challenge in this industrial area.

This place is amazing and has the best meat we have found in the area. The baby back ribs are hands down one of the best things I’ve put in my mouth and are definitely my favorite. Get the Trust Us special with the ribs and shrimp, you will not be disappointed. Take out only and parking is a nightmare but it’s worth it.

Came straight from the airport as soon as I got out. If you love meat, this is the place for you!! Huge portion of meat and very generous amount of rice. Seriously, the rice lasts for days. Ordered the K special that has bbq ribs and spicy tuna poke. My brother ordered the Lunchbox. Dad had garlic shrimp and saimin. The shrimp was delicious. I liked the bbp ribs. Tender meat fell right off the bones.

So much awesomeness in such a quaint place. Da Braddahs was so helpful with choosing what to order, especially for someone who isn’t “seafood savvy”. So much Aloha! I highly recommend this place! Smoked meat plate was the bomb!!! Mahalo for the grinds guys!

First time there. Ordered a garlic shrimp/ garlic chicken mini combo all mac salad; and BBQ ribs/pulehu ribs reg combo.

Take out only. Lunch plate with ribs, rice, and a very small container of Mac salad plus a drink =$24. The ribs were moist and flavorful.

The big boy was plenty for 2. Loved it all! The crazy rice is not for me, sweet and mushy a bit. Just me though. It was great. Loved it and they was nice.

The food was really good here. The fish was fresh and the ingredients were nicely combined. I would like to return to taste other menu items.

Heard so many good things about this place so I had to try it out. The food is really good and portions are decent. Price is medium to high for a plate lunch but you get quality food. $14 for one item and $19 for combo. Plate lunches com with two scoops rice and macaroni salad. Got two combination plates try some of the best sellers. BBQ ribs are a must have and they are as good as people say. Palehi ribs are tasty and not overcooked but mine was a little salty for me. Garlic Ahi was cooked through and still moist, flavorful and with lots of garlic. Garlic shrimp was tasty and about as good as Giovanni’s shrimp truck in Wahiawa. Combos had about 5 shrimp, three ribs, 6 short ribs pieces and two pieces of Ahi. Will be back again to try their other items. If you in the area you should definitely stop by.
