Great place for tasty and healthy Thai food. Grass fed steak, salmon, tofu and chicken are your protein options. Rice, rice berry, or cabbage is your base. You get to pick two sides and four curry options to select from. You can take it to go or sit in a fairly small sitting area… Prices are very reasonable for what they offer

We were craving Thai food and chose Kati Shop because it is dedicated gluten free with vegan options. Were surprised to see that it’s more of a quick service model–you order and then pay at the counter and then there’s a small area for seating. It was a relief to be able to eat at a dedicated gf facility and the food was very delicious. I ordered the panang curry because they advised that it was the most similar to red curry. I chose the chicken as my protein since the tofu had sesame (I am allergic to sesame). My partner ordered the Massaman curry and he liked it but we both agreed that the panang was better. Each main dish is served with two sides. We arrived pretty late so had limited choices but ended up ordering the cucumber salad and boiled egg. The cucumber salad was very tasty and the boiled egg was a boiled egg. We really enjoyed the food and found the servings to be generous. If ever back in NYC we would likely come here again.

Great Place. 2 people serving and 2 in the kitchen. Very modern inside. The food was great. I got the sauce with 1 pepper (peppers symbolize spice, it goes up to 5 I think) and it was VERY spicy. So be warmed of that. Perhaps get the sauce with no pepper or just skip sauce. But overall great place!

Have eaten here over a dozen times but all take out. The food is delicious, allergen friendly and tastes clean n fresh. The coriander steak and salmon is chicken is meh. The wild berry rice is what I always order and you should too. Trust me, skip the white rice if ordering take out. The mushrooms are incredible, sweet potatoes and kale salad are awesome, mashed potatoes is aight. As for the sauces, I prefer the Kati signature and it is absolutely . The milder green curry is good as well. If you are in mood for clean Thai food, this is the place to go.

One of the best meals I have had in a very long time. I got the Salmon with Red Rice berries Kati Signature sauce, side of mash with massaman sauce, and the slaw. If I could make this and/or there was one close I would be able to eat healthy. This was AMAZING! Go here and enjoy.

Friendly staff, and healthy food (good portions too!). Chipotle-like format for Thai food. Their signature curry is quite hot, even for those with a high threshold for spicy food: I recommend trying some of their milder curries first. Really enjoyed their salad sides too: I’d definitely visit again, or get a takeaway when I’m in the area!

After reading great reviews decide to try this place. It is very clean, stuff is friendly, but food…. Badly undercooked sweet potatoes (to the point of being raw and crunchy) really spoiled the experience. Forbiden rice and salmon were good, curry just ok. I did not come to the place to criticize, just to have dinner and hoped it to be better prepared, also considering the price.

A new addition to Midtown East that deserves your attention. Don’t let the perfect 5 star rating scare you – 5 stars is pretty much the smallest token of appreciation for the amount of attentive care and hospitality Mac and her staff provide for their customers. Everyone who walks through the doors will feel this same exact warm welcome.
