I moved to Minnesota from Texas 20 months ago and I found this jewel of a cafe. I have eaten here about 7 times or so already. Yesterday was my birthday, so I treated myself to the “Big Daddy” which is one huge pancake, eggs like you like them, bacon and sausage and your choice of bread. I got an English muffin. I also chose hash browns that came with the order. It really hit home too! Very good .

This is a small town’s local cafe. For years I have driven by & thought, some day I’ll stop. Finally I did. The food was good, service was attentive, and the atmosphere was very friendly.

Delicious breakfast. Stop by; you won’t regret it. The “Big Daddy” will have you stuffed all the way back to the Twin Cities. The waitress was very hardworking and kind hearted.

stopped here for breakfast after a weekend ice fishing, what a mistake, took 45+ minutes for our breakfast, they couldn’t coordinate to bring all food at once, each plate came out one by one with at least five minutes between each plate. Had to ask for more coffee after having an empty cup waiting at the edge of our table for at least ten minutes. If your not a local, I would defiantly skip this sit down restaurant

If you’re on the road, looking for some tasty “home-made” comfort food, skip the myriad of Bar & Grilles and fast food joints along Hwy 212 and head to Kathy’s. Breakfast is served all day and the desserts are made from scratch. Cheers!
