Awesome sushi and a huge selection to choose from. I ordered a Poke bowl with a choice of raw salmon or tuna…or you could get a combo of both. It was served with rice, avocado , and many other ingredients. Also served with a delicious soup and salad. My son ordered green tea and a variety of sushi! Everything was extremely fresh and delicious…too much to eat for one meal, so took half of mine home to enjoy for dinner! Will definitely go back again!

This has to be the best sushi with the best hospitality on the East Coast! I do not live close, but I will definitely travel to just come back here. We tried a wonderful plum wine and asked for the rest of the bottle and she ended up giving us not one but two new bottles. She definitely did not have to do that but she did. Ten out of ten stars would highly recommend!!

The best sushi! We just came back from a trip to Japan where we fell in love with sushi. We were certain that nowhere would compare to Japan, but we tried Katana and it was the perfect choice! We’ve eaten here a few times now, both dine-in and take out, and it has been great each time. We love the spicy tuna roll. The staff is also friendly and the take out orders are prepared so quickly. Eat here if you love sushi!

Great hole in the wall sushi restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice and mellow. Each side of the restaurant is kind of small so I wouldn’t suggest this place for groups bigger than 5. All of the sushi rolls used the purple sushi rice which was very surprising and delicious as well. My server suggested the French Kiss roll and I’m so glad I tried it because it was DELICIOUS. When it comes to beverages, be aware that there is not a normal beverage selection. Only water, wine, and sake are available.

We have been going to Katana for years for their delicious sushi! It is the best that I’ve ever had and I have tried many of the sushi restaurants in the area. The staff is extremely friendly and conscientious of their customers. The owners know us and treat us like family every time we come in. You won’t find a better sushi restaurant in the area and you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended!!!

Not only is this my favorite place for sushi in Virginia; the quality, taste, and freshness of the sushi here rivals the best I’ve had in Southern California and Hawaii. This place is a gem of a joint! The staff was welcoming and attentive, the ambiance is cozy and authentic, and I found their prices to be incredibly reasonable for such high quality. Don’t pass up their sunomono. It really stands out from the crowd. I’m so happy to have finally found my sushi spot!

Not sure what to call this place… hidden gem? Diamond in the rough? Whatever you call it, the sushi here is awesome. Usually come for lunch and order the sashimi combo. The miso is good well seasoned, and the the side salad with ginger dressing is also good compared to other sushi restaurants. Where Katana shines is the quality and portions for their sashimi and nigiri. Writing this review makes me want to go back!

Katana Sushi is by far my favorite sushi place in the area. I love their lunch salmon combo. The fish is always delicious and the service is always stellar. The best time to go is lunch on Thursday.
