If I can give zero stars I would. I just placed an Uber eats order that I paid $50 before any fees. On july 20, 2023z I ordered the oxtail with rice and red beans, sweet plantains and Jamaican Patties. I can’t even tell you what’s worse. Where to begin, the oxtail- you can taste the freezer burns, no flavor/ seasoning- I got exactly 2 small pieces and 1 extra small piece. It tasted gamey. Completely unpleasant and inedible. Truly disgusting. The plate came with the second worse tasting thing, wait ” I think it’s a tie”… let’s just say it came with rice and red beans and some cabbage. The rice was underwhelming. The parboiled cheap rice is over cooked. No flavor! Yup- not even salt! The beans are bland and taste like they’re a few days old. Both in a bedd of goup, and old oil. Such a shame. It’s offensive to even try to call this Caribbean food. The cabbage was a mush! Terrible texture. Again no flavor. Just adding bulk to a dish that’s trash already. The sweet plantains are not ready!!! Like Fam, how on earth are you guys selling sweet plantains when they taste closer to green banana, it’s ridiculous. Far from sweet. Awful hard and dry texture. Plus they were burnt! Yes burnt ! Lastly, the Patties- clearly prepackaged and tasted like they experienced freezer burnt as well. Not homemade and definitely overly baked smh. I am being more then nice with how my experience went. I wasted $50. Surprised they’re still in business is an understatement. Perhaps people don’t know what good food taste like? Who know- what I do know, is that I won’t even give this garbage to my dogs, trust me they eat anything. I’m a huge foodie, and I tasted pretty awful stuff but this doesn’t come close. From now on, I’ll be doing everyone a favor and sharing my experience with this place. Change of management and chef is required before I even consider going back. I’m embarrassed for them. Everyone should read the reviews before ordering- even better DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. YOU’RE WELCOME! I should call my bank bc I truly got robbed

Food was disgusting. Chicken drummets seem as the brown stew sauce was added once chicken was placed in carry out. Food lacked seasonings. Food was dry rice and beans was like paper. Nothing was Island about the dish I would not be revisiting. Does not recommend. Not sure if the pic does any justice just now it doesn’t look good because it was not.

Bumbaclot worse food I ever had. So mad I didn’t keep scrolling on reviews & spent over $40. Rice and peas was just white rice and no peas, brown stew chicken was dry and not actual stew chicken. Oxtails were also dry and only got 3 on the plate. Ended up throwing both orders out. Complete waste of money idk how this place is still open for business. This is not real Jamaican food. Stay away. Do not recommend! Would give it 0 stars but not an option.

I bought food here from Uber eats. The food taste awful. Even a 5yr old can cook better than this. I should have followed my mind and stick with “JERK HUT” . Please, don’t waste your money people. I sent a picture to Uber eats and received my money. They need betters chefs in the kitchen.

ordered a large oxtail and it came with 4 oxtail and I wanted a large wing just the wings and it was a only 4 pieces of wings. how crazy is that for the amount of money I paid for these dishes to only get this portion not only that it was terrible did not taste good or anything Im very disappointed

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! If I could give this no stars I would. I called to order my food and got there 5 mins past the time it would be ready. When we walked in the guy was on the phone and said the food is coming right up. The place has a nasty smell. And I regretted ordering because at this point I didn’t trust the food! He went in the back and sat down while on the phone instead of preparing our food. We stood there for 15 mins watching him gala and in the back doing nothing. We left and he didn’t even notice.

I ordered the oxtail dinner. It was supposed to come with oxtails, rice & beans, and veggies. He decided to substitute veggies for plantains without asking me. I can not eat plantains because they make me sick. I told him this and he said that’s all he had and will give me veggies next time. However, I will never go back. The 3 oxtails he gave were all bone and fat and the Mac and cheese was gross and dried out. I went to jerk hut and paid less money and the food was great!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS RESTAURANT. Anyone that left a 5 start review was probably paid, works there or related to the owner, I can’t see how they could get anything but 1star, would be 0 but that’s not an option. This is the worst restaurant I’ve ever ordered from. The food is salty, and as much as they charge for the food they only put two small pieces of meat in the plate. I will never order from them again, I will discourage anyone I know from going there. I wish I had read the reviews prior to ordering from them.
