This place has to be one of my favorite places to eat breakfast and lunch. The staff is friendly. The food is fresh & fast! The environment is inviting. It’s southern charm. I love that they offer different types of sausage (links, smoked, & patty). Thy have the cutest mugs for my coffee. My belly’s happy, so I’m happy. I can tell they take pride in the cleanliness of their restaurant. The water tastes clean! Which means they clean their drink machine thoroughly. It’s been part of my route after I drop off the kids and on the way to work, love coming here!

First time here and it will not be the last. When we got there we sat ourselves and Ms. Karen came to greet us with the menu. It was still early but quite a few people were already dining. They only open during the week 6am to 2pm. Not open on the weekends. If you want a good down home breakfast, I would highly recommend this place. I got myself a coffee and three egg breakfasts with homestyle fries, country fried steak, n biscuit.. The portion is very generous for $11.99. My camera person got the morning special steak omelette with hash brown n toast. Overall 9 Chaus will be back for sure.

Karen’s is a true gem in the Pensacola community, and our first visit today was a joy. The customer service was fast, hospitable, and consistent, the dishes were prepared and served quickly and were absolutely delicious, and everything tasted home made. The inside of the restaurant was clean and you could see it was well kept. We enjoyed a grilled pork chop, sweet potato casserole, cornbread, and green beans for one meal, and a delicious bacon cheeseburger and side salad for the other. The specials come with two sides and you will see they all sound wonderful, and there was a bunch of home cooked desserts available up front. A must try restaurant. Note, they are only open Monday thru Friday for breakfast and lunch. An easy five stars.

A quietly wonderful place for breakfast and lunch. You will be to full for dessert. Take one home for later.

Homemade food, servers that treat everyone like family & Karen put her heart into every aspect of the company. Sometimes, she is seen sitting at a table chatting with customers. It’s one of the great old fashion type diners where it feels like home!

Went for the first time yesterday. Food was good and a cozy place. Went mainly bc of the low prices advertised online. They brought the check with no pricing so we ordered dessert thinking it was cheap.

Friendly waitress. Stopped in for first time for breakfast. Standard home cooking breakfast. Hubs had two eggs, hash browns, toast and coffee. I had 1/2 order biscuits and gravy (one sliced biscuit). Biscuit light and fluffy, gravy thick and just a tad spicy and thick. Good.

Small portions for the high price you pay. Leg and a thigh 2 small sides all for $15? You can get a 5 piece dinner 2 sides at Popeyes for $12 comes with two biscuits. I expect to have at least 4 piece of chicken for paying anything over $15, po folks is doing it for years.
