I love this place and the individual dish order all-you-can-eat option. On occasion a dish is overlooked on your check-order sheet but it’s not a problem to just let the server know and they will quickly get it for you. Some servers are more efficient than others but the food is always good. The owners are friendly and always present. You can order sushi, individual dinners or select the all-you-can-eat option that lets you choose anything off a specific menu.

I wouldn’t go here again just because it took so long to get seated and our food. It took 15 minutes to be seated with only 4 other parties present. And another 15 to twenty minutes for food. Food tasted okay. Bathrooms are in bad shape

Not worth going there because you wait all day. All you can eat if you have 4 hours to spend for lunch. My last time coming here!!! But sushi is decent. Lot of rice.

Had not been to Kappa in quite a while and it was just as great Black Friday 2016 as I remember from my many visits before. Individual portions of appetizers, soups, salads, hibachi style meat rice and veggies brought in single serve portions to your table served piping hot. And among the best sushi I have ever eaten in my life. Service was top notch as well. Highly recommended.

I love sushi. I’ve visited pretty much every location that offers it and this restaurant’s sushi is okay. The reason I rank this a 3 is because they have good food items on their cooked menu, but there needs to be a little more work on the sushi. What’s wrong with the sushi? They use way too much rice on the rolls. It’s literally a roll of rice with a tiny bit of seafood on top or inside. When I pay for sushi rolls, I’d hope to pay for the fresh seafood within the rolls, but here I’m paying for rice. I’ve come back a few times thinking that it may just be the sushi chef at the time, but I get disappointed every time. If you want cooked Japanese food, then this is a acceptable spot. If you want sushi, I recommend going elsewhere.

Never have time for the AYCE, but I grab lunch here routinely both to-go and dine-in. The staff has always been cheerful, available, and accommodating. The sushi is delicious, as have been all the other menu items I’ve tried. Of all the sushi restaurants I frequent in town, this is the only one that goes out of its way to make me feel like a regular. I highly recommend, especially to locals, and am relieved a lot of the pretentious people here say they aren’t returning.

We did the all you can eat option. Each order took longer to come out and had more and more rice added so we’d get full or just stop ordering. It was still good until the last order where the rice was the whole roll with the smallest sliver of tuna I’ve ever seen. The food tates good, at first I was happy with it even though the portions were so small they looked like they were meant for my infant but if you don’t want people to eat all they can eat don’t offer it as an option.
