I had the double steak hibachi plate and my girlfriend had half shrimp half steak. Both were super tasty and has lots of juicy flavor. The fried rice alone could carry this whole resturant it was the BEST I’ve ever had flavor wise it could’ve had a few more veggies but the consistency and flavor were phenomenal.
My Reason
I seriously don’t understand the 5 star reviews on this place. You can literally get better ‘sushi’ at a grocery store, maybe not a grocery store in Warrensburg, but nearly anywhere outside this decent food desert. I mean you need a magnifying glass to see the salmon or avocado in the salmon avocado rolls. This place was founded for one reason, to rip off people coming to mal wart who don’t know what actual sushi is. The cooked noodle and rice dishes are no better. They’re mostly plain fried rice, small amount of meat or veges. See photos. And if they wasn’t enough, it’s over-priced.

Very good hibachi. We had steak, chicken, and shrimp. All three options were great. I would have liked med. rare on the steak, but it was still tasty and not dry or chewy. The rice and noodles are very simple, but good. One of the better food choices in town. The staff was very friendly. The tables outside were nice on a warm day.

Tried on a whim after getting our nails done next door. This food is the best I have had in a while. Each order was enough to make 2 meals for us. Definitely will return and recommend to friends.

BEST, BEST, BEST!!! You can NOT beat this place!! The food is PHENOMENAL!!! The owner greets you and has the most amazing personality!!! Very welcoming!!! They love their customers!!! I don’t know how you can actually make rice taste better than anywhere else, but they have done it!! It is delicious!! You just want to sit and savor this food….it just melts in your mouth!!! Freshly cooked and oh so tender and juicy!! This place is an experience you don’t want to miss!! Honestly I had got to the point that I really didn’t want to eat out anymore because food at other places just filled me…no real taste… and often even made me sick and bloated. BUT NOT Kansha Hibachi Express….I didn’t get sick and it was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!! And I can’t say enough about the service and the owner…very humble sweet man and I pray his business is blessed beyond measure!!! Thank you Kansha Hibachi Express for giving Warrensburg a wonderful place to go eat!!! We will be regular customers!!!

Finally a Hibachi place in Warrensburg with flavor! Everything was excellent. My new favorite. The guy taking orders (I think the owner) was super upbeat and friendly. They are fast with getting orders out too. No complaints. I’ll be back for sure. Keep up the good work!

I’ve loved Kansha since the first time I tried their food truck. The sushi is amazing, and you get a lot of pieces per roll; highly recommend the Warrensburg Roll. My husband and I got a couple things and split them this time because the serving sizes are so great. Their yum yum sauce is the best I’ve ever had and whatever seasoning or sauce they cook the chicken, steak, or salmon in on the griddle is freaking delicious. The fried rice and noodles are both really good, but I sub them out for extra veggies because their sautéed veggies are my fave.

I went there for the first time…wonderful service, form the guy at the register to the owner coming and talking with us. The food was AMAZING, great flavor and the sushi was so fresh. Keep up the amazing work and we plan on visiting very soon!!
