I got the seafood jajangmyeon, I barely saw any seafood in it. And when we got our check, our waitress circled the 18% tip and told us tip is minimum 18% while there were just 2 of us.

Good, consistent Korean-Chinese dish. In Summer I go for cold 콩국수 (mung bean noodle soup). Side it with 불고기. Very good.

Food quality and amount of food for price they charge is below average. Large tang su yuk is like small size else where. I don’t know if others are not leaving tips but they automatically charge a tip for 5 people. You need to watch your bill and don’t double tip!

My favorite Korean restaurant! I live in Annandale which has many Korean restaurants but Kangchon in Centerville is my FAVORITE! Authentic, amazing tasting food, great service, never a bad visit. I met the owner, great guy and always smiles. I had spicy pork, bibimbap (hot pot), and mandu. It was as always, delicious!

We ordered tang soo yuk today and it was dry and hard to a point where it hurt our teeth to chew. My husband called and asked if it was pre-fried and they said no. The person over the phone didn’t apologize for the poor food quality and asked him to bring back the food to get a refund. I was so mad at them that I took the food back to get a refund. The last two times we ordered tang soo yuk, it was so yummy, so we were looking forward to it, but now we won’t be ordering from there again. So disappointing 🙁

Food is fine even good if you order the right stuff but what ruins it is their service. They charged us for asking for more onion and hot sauce… seriously? Sometimes they’re very inattentive and straight up ignore you when asking requests.
