Finally decided to order from here. Checked out the reviews. Most were pretty dated. Settled on the titanic roll and spicy chicken ramen. The titanic roll was Amazing!! It was fresh, hot, big enough to split (I didn’t). Flavor was on point. Don’t really remember a crunchy component but I wouldnt hesitate to order it again.

I mostly do takeout. Not the best option for sashimi/nigiri but their specialty rolls are wonderful. They’re lower cost than competitors in the area too.

Great place to eat. Use to come here years ago, still a wonderful place. They do lunch bentos before 3!

Good neighborhood place for sushi. Nothing fancy or flashy but good Japanese food at reasonable prices. We had California and Alaska rolls (each order has 6 rolls) and an order of sake nigiri all excellent.

Drive out to walnut creek just to try this place out. I gave two stars cause it won’t get you sick but you will be heavily disappointed. The calamari was served like fried chicken strips with bbq sauce and my baked scallop roll was in a pool of sauce. It was so soggy that it was trying to fall apart in my chopsticks and the only thing I could taste was butter and sauce. Couldn’t even eat more then one piece of it and 20 minutes later my stomaches still feels like a greasy mess. The salad in the bento had an off taste so I stopped eating it. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant

Kana Sushi has one of the best, if not, the best Japanese foods in all of Walnut Creek. Their food tastes fresh and the fact that they have so many friendly staff only adds to the wonderful experience. My brother and I went to Kana about an hour before and the experience was amazing. Kana Sushi, shows true culinary art when it comes to their sushi and the taste is out of this world. I would highly recommend the Dragon Roll, Godzilla roll, Salmon Skin Hand Roll, and their Ramen. All these dishes have such an amazing taste to them the price is almost too good to be true. I hope everyone gives Kana Sushi a try and enjoys it as much as my brother and I did. Thank you Kana for the great experience!

Got the 10pc nigiri here and was not impressed. The octopus, clam, and squid nigiri were way too chewy to consume and frankly disgusting. The salmon roll and salmon nigiri I had were good – I should have gotten only that. To top it all off the restaurant left out my gyoza order. Very unsatisfied with my experience here.

While I haven’t had a bad dish yet, the service remains a little spotty. They don’t always get it right the first time around and tend to take a long time to get back to us. Still, every single roll I’ve ordered has been great!

I ordered ahead for take out. The food was great as far as with what I had. Which were a couple sushi rolls. Good thing I asked for extra soy sauce or i would have not has any. The restaurant itself was outdated and unwelcoming. But, I ordered to go anyways and it was ready when I got there so I just walked in and out. It was a fine experience overall. I would order again when in the area.
