Food normal. The reason I’m not coming back and that made very disgusting our visit was the waitress. All the time right next to us staring at us making faces. Extremely uncomfortable, couldn’t talk in peace and obviously she was making fun of us. The most terrible attitude I’ve seen in a waitress in my hole life,as if she were doing us a favor!

I generally enjoyed my meal but the lady who was taking phone call orders and pick up orders at the front desk is very rude. I walked in and she screams “phone number?” I must have been sleeping as I responded with my name and she screamed back even worse again “phone number?” then gave me an attitude saying my order was not ready yet. I went back and forth twice and both times, the parking situation was a nightmare in 20 minutes apart !!!! Location awful. I will continue looking elsewhere.

We usually order from Kampei 2, but for location/convenience we ordered from Kampei last night for pick up. We ordered about $60 worth of food. First I found a hair in the ribs, then I found a bug in the chicken and broccoli. Needless to say, all the food went in the trash, and I won’t be back.

Just OK. I had the chicken with peanuts lunch special. The brown sauce in the dish was too sweet for me. I’d prefer a more savory and less sweet sauce. The dish had a sweet brown sauce, chicken peanuts, green peppers, hot red peppers, celery, and carrots.

This is my favorite place in Stamford. It is a small spot if you eat inside. The only place in town that has coconut prawns in their menu. Their chicken with honey walnut is delish. I’ve eaten there so many times. Any meal with hot tea is delish.

We love Kampei! We have been going here for many many years, and they definitely have the best rolls and wonton soup and chicken broccoli , shrimp fried rice in town, and that’s just some of my favs! Their food is amazing and they are super friendly and fast service!
