Trust me when I say this is probably one of the best Indian restaurants in Honolulu. I am a big fan of Indian food and I have been to different establishments but none could satisfy me the way Kamana kitchen can, to the point where I became a regular customer and the staff already knows my name and usual order (lamb beriani). The best part about this place is that the lamb is halal, music to the ears of Muslim patrons. The restaurant has been featured on different news and their spice level is on the hotter side so I recommend you to tone down one spice level than you usually would order (I like to order hot spice level but for this place I would just order medium and it would be at the perfect spice level). The mango lasso is rich and decadent, providing the sweet cool sensation that goes well with the spicy food. For dessert you should consider getting their pistachio ice cream, super yummy to tame the spice you just ate from your meal. Seating may be limited because it’s a small restaurant so I recommend that you come before or after lunch/dinner rush hours. Parking is also limited.

My new favorite Indian spot. Reminds me of great Indian food from NYC. Vegetable Pakora, Malai Kofta and Garlic Naan were amazing. Everything came out piping hot and very quickly. Service was great. Will definitely be back!

This is our favorite Indian restaurant. The food is always good, no matter what you order. It’s so good that you’ll be willing to try things you haven’t before! Service is always prompt & the staff is kind. Street parking only which can be hard to find, unless you park at a garage nearby. Portions are generous. The lamb curry is my new favorite!

Definitely the best Indian restaurant in the area. Not a Hawaiian speciality, but mix it up a little and get you some good Indian food! Staff was great. Bathrooms for patrons are available. Garlic cheese naan was great. Would come again.

Excellent food! Everything was delicious but the highlights for me were definitely the lamb biryani, chicken tikka masala, butter naan, and meat samosas! The price is fair also.

It’s a real cozy spot to grab some Indian food with your family and friends. The food is delicious and filling, with my favorite being the mixed Tandoori grill! They also offer a wide variety of vegetarian options here, making this another reason Kamana Kitchen is one of our favorite places to eat. Highly recommend, will be coming again in the future.

This is likely my favorite Indian spot in Oahu. They serve all of the classics but also maintain a pretty vast menu of dishes that are more traditional.

My family and I ate here last night. The food was amazing. One of the best Indian food I have ever tasted. They served us super fast. Amazing costumer service. Venti or Basti (not sure how to spell her name) she was so friendly and attentive. Great place!
