We were weekly guests of Himalayan Cafe in Westbrook for years but since it closed down, we’ve been on the hunt for another good Indian Restaurant. Well, WE FOUND IT! The food and service are phenomenal. Everything was just wonderful. We found our new place and we’ll be here every week. Amazing!

We had a lovely family dinner at Kamana last night. I had never eaten there before, but chose it because I needed to accommodate gluten free and vegan diets. Kamana did not disappoint! The food was delicious and there were numerous options that met everyone’s dietary restrictions. The service was amazing. Our table of 8 was attended to with patience and great care. The servings were generous and the prices reasonable. I highly recommend Kamana. Delicious Indian food. Perfect for vegan, dairy free and gluten free diets.

Lovely interior, great service and beautiful food. I had the lamb biryani. Wonderfully cooked to medium rare and succulent. The rice was complex, and the yoghurt was delightfully fresh. An excellent dish, and well executed by the chef. Highly recommended. Will definitely dine here again.

I have been driving/walking by Kamana daily for years. My daughter talked me into dinner here tonight. It was a great choice. The food was delicious & plentiful. The staff was great. I highly recommend even if you want to try Indian food for the first time. I’m sorry I haven’t stopped in before. We will be back!

This place is okay. I’m boring and always get butter chicken. Theirs tastes exactly like vodka sauce. No traditional Indian seasonings at all. And their “cubed chicken” is very odd. Also pretty overpriced for the portion. Samosas were good! There’s better options out there though.

This is a hidden gem in the town. The staff is very welcoming, food is delicious and the atmosphere is pleasant. Tried their papri chat in appetizers and highly recommend it. Mango lassi was nice too. Their thali is huge, so be ready for leftovers if you are not a big eater. Highly recommend the place.

Best biryani by far, haven’t had this good of a biryani in a while. Aromatic, tasty and we’ll made. Butter chicken was excellent. Sikh kebab lamb was not my favorite. Slow service, clean place and excellent outdoor seating option.
